QUOTE (Zed.D @ Jan 21 2012, 12:54 PM) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) OK fair enough, Trini. this is too hilarious for me to ruin it by continuing to argue (no offense at all intended). (I tell you, the backspace key is so underrated! I typed a lot in response to the whole Pato argument but I thought what's the point? we've been repeating ourselves too much over this issue) Haha (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Fair enough, but just to be clear, I'm not against Pato; I was just voicing that there are exceptions in which two players from different positions can be compared.

QUOTE (nuh @ Jan 21 2012, 01:04 PM) what do you mean biased? its a fact! pato is much better than him...balotelli has never managed to score more than 8 or 9 goals in a season...all this talk of him being better is nonsense! I mean seriously, fine pato hasn't been in good form this season but give the kid a break! i remember sheva once had a bad season with injuries and finished the season with only 5 league goals i wonder what this forum would of said if it was open then (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) , just give the kid a break! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/king.gif) EXCAAATLYYYYYY +∞ But then $heva went on that season to score the winning CL goal and the very next year he had an awesome goalscoring haul (used to be my favourite player (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ) It saddens me how quickly fans in general turn on a player when he's in difficulty....There was a point last season when despite his obvious talent nobody would have dared said that Balo>Pato. We need to remember that ALL strikers go through rough patches the MAIN problem with Pato is that this is exacerbated by the fact that his good streaks have all been rather short and too sporadic since they have always been pnctuated by injury and the bad form that follows subsequently.

QUOTE (nuh @ Jan 21 2012, 09:26 PM) listen just cuz you can't counter my comment don't call my opinion pathetic, okay? i gave you a nice statistic comment on that if u want but don't u dare call my opinion pathetic again (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I didn't call your opinion pathetic, but you stating yours as a fact. And now you just assume I can't counter yours - which makes you act even more pathetic - but I simply was not bothered to do so. Oh, and, one thing, if stats is all you look at, you never make right judgements when it comes to players. Not only is Balotelli scoring a lot this season, but also does a lot more than just scoring, all what Pato doesn't do.

As for the Balotelli comparisons, both him and Pato are talented IMO though I rate Pato more highly because when I compare their performances in their best seasons, I find Pato's to be better. Balo is yet to strike me as the kind of a player than can carry his team on his back with his goals while that's what Pato did in 2008-09.

QUOTE (d'Arc.LP @ Feb 6 2012, 10:34 AM) Christian Ruiu on twitter: Pato will 100% be back against Cesena. He might be on the bench for the game against Arsenal. And more important, he will start against Juventus. Shouldn't he have been out for a month? Thus he'd come in later than Aqui and Boateng... I hope they're not rushing him back because of the injury/suspensions
