QUOTE (planck @ Aug 15 2006, 03:29 PM)
You're right, but we've had plenty of time, we didn't see Sheva's move coming, but we knew that Amo wasn't good enough and Pippo has not many years left, so if Milan says that this attacker-problem has just arrieved, it's nonsense!

We should not so easy forget that just some weeks earlier we were troubled with the Calciopoli affairs...That certainly made it`s negative impact. And now we are paying it.. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Iaquinta is good. To be the 4th striker. Not to sub Shevchenko. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Iaquinta has pace and quite good finishing, unfortunatley his timing and off the ball movement are poor as proved many times with italy in the world cup, so unless he can drastically improve that he wouldnt be a good alternative

No reason at all to pay 10-20 m £ for a forth striker, a forth striker has to be a free transfer or a very cheap (young and talented) striker...

Iaquinta is pathetic, I hate him. Really, I hope this is a rumor cause it can't get any worse. Even Amoroso is better than him. I don't understand, why don't we bring Torres? I know some of you don't want him, but think about it, would you prefer Iaquinta better? I don't think so. Oh, and by the way, I heard today on Studio Sport that Milan are following Rafael Sóbis from SC Internacional, Brazil. He's 21 years old, 172cm and scores a lot. They say he's a Montella type striker.

For me, the 4th striker will be Borriello. I wouldn't mind. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

There are several strikers much, mucht but way much better that iaquinta.....

I think we should keep Borriello as our 4 striker and get rid of Amoroso. As for Iaquinta we don't need him ,we need world class striker .We have enough bench warmers.

I think there must be a hidden story of Milan board in "Ukrainian story". No clubs in the world do it like us. Every club find a replacement before they allow their best player to move. Why Milan?

Iaquinta for 10-20 million is out of the question.

What choices do we have though?

We need a world class striker but not one of them wants to come to Milan.

This is--
A- All this transfer speculation is really just hiding the surprise transfer.

B- Milan are going to settle for a Amoroso and Favalli like jan and summer transfer
market and suffer the consequences in CL and scudetto.

IMO--The only replacement for Scheva is Ronaldinho or Henry so we're not getting a replacement for him.

For Milan's management to bet on Henry and Ronaldinho coming and waiting for them to come is an act of stupidity that shows they need to be shown the door.
