QUOTE (Portugal @ Aug 10 2006, 02:21 PM)
I'm a little bit worried about something I never saw.

In old days, every player used to prefer Milan to Inter (anyday). Now, in 1 week, 2 good strikers preferred the Nerazzurri to Milan.

Yes we kept Kaka', so what? Have you look to our strikers list?

Well, I hope you're right. 20 days... 20 days left.

Have the merda got two good strikers though? they have players with skills but their goal ratio is pathetic. I am delighted that they signed Ibra - let's hope he does his usual and disruspts the dressing room and misses all his chances (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Ibra is probably the most overrated excuse for a footballer I have ever seen! him and the merda are a match made in heaven (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Next season, when they'll get 12 or 15 points in advance from us, then you'll say "after all, Adriano and Ibra doesn't work that bad".

I'm really sad with all this situation.

Just remember that we signed Gourcuff, IMO he will be a revelation just like Kaka (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
I also have a feeling that we will get Diarra; everyone is expecting him to go to real but he hasn't so far. And I heard that Braida went personally to Lyon to discuss signing Diarra+Braida and Galliani both went to watch some Lyon games last season. I just feel that Milan management are waiting on the final game with Red Star and should we qualify the signings will come.
We must have faith (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Whose going to score their goals then? they have six(I think) forwards who are hardly prolific. I would worry if they had bought a sheva type player but zlatan is truly awful (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Totally right, Zlatan had 2 season in serie A so far, and he has only got 23 goals, that's what a striker that can be called successful scores in 1 season, and it's not like his form improved, look at Pirlo or even Dida at the WC they put their horrible season behind them and performed great in the WC, Zlatan did absolutely nothing in the whole tournament, and personally I think it's mostly his atitude andthat is definately something that will noth change or improve at INTER, if anything it will get worse over there.

Look at the strikers they have that will mostly get the biggest playing time - Crespo, Zlatan and Adriano, Adriano had a terrible season last year, but that is partly because of his personal life and all the problems he had at Inter with the Argies, that's what leads me to believe that he isn't staying. Zlatan, was terrible last season, the season before he was OK scored some great goal, but still 16 goals is nothing to be very proud of especially if they are hailing you as the new Van Basten, Crespo in my oppinion is a great in box striker, but when he plays for a great club that has a serene atmosphere in the dressing room (definately not Inter), and look at the last time he played there, they practically ruined him, I'm pretty sure that he won't be a big success in his second try.

And look at their midfield, Figo is in the end of his carreer and god knows why he chose there to end his carreer, maybe he said to himself I want to go out piecfully and silently. Viera is another old player that doesn't have much left in him and if he thinks that he will be able to take a shot at the CL with inter then he is seriously mistaken

I am not afraid of Inter at all, but I'm afraid of ourselves. Han, you are very reasonable to think about Adriano. But, take a look, Inter tries to do everything to get Scu this season, includes buy players that Milan could buy just to prevent Milan strengthen the squad. So, I'm sure they won't let Adriano go.

These days people talks too much about Drogba, Tevez, Hunteleer, Suazo, ... but do you really think they are EQUAL with Sheva? If Milan keeps their promise, so we must get Torres, Henry, ... who all stays with their new/old club.

Rivaldo, Vieri >> if Barca and Inter didn't release them, we didn't buy them, I'm sure again. And in this season, there's no club who wants to release their top striker. The luck won't come too easy.

I highly doubt Buffon would accept Inter .. If not Milan, I think he would go abroad, i.e. if he is evaluating his options

Why even try for Diarra? We are more than well covered in midfield. It would be idiotic to spend half the sum we got for Sheva on a player we hardly need, instead of a really good attacker or defender. If we sign Diarra now that'll only mean that young prospects like Foggia and Gourcuff won't get enough time on the pitch to develop. It's already too much that we have to put such champions as Ambro, Vogel and Brocchi on the bench, now we're gonna add Seedorf as well?

The absolute dream would be if we signed Fernando Torres and William Gallas, my word that'd be too good to be true.

You can see this situation like this: At the beginning, surely Milan is stronger than Inter and almost players wanted to move to Milan (Etoo, Drogba, Crespo, Nistelrooy, Buffon, Gallas, ...). But after knowing our wonderful plan for the next season, everybody turns to Inter and Inter becomes much more advantages than Milan. So now, everybody will chose Inter instead of Milan.

Yes. If we get those two players we'll become invincible. Come on Silvio, don't be so cocky and sign them.
