My God...
How negative and depressing this board can get from time to time, it's pretty much unbelievable to me. We play a freakin friendly at a "Audi Cup", only the second match since we started training, yet we manage to write down words like "embarassing", "annoyingly pathetic" and "amateurish". It's really a joke, I cannot threat it as anything else.
@ Han and CHU, would you two cool off a bit? Han - you are one of the most benevolent posters here, yet sometimes you leave the impression that one cannot praise or like players like Rino or Pippo around you. I know you threat them finished, I know you don't particularly like them, and you might even be very right, but sometimes you say it over and over again and a sentimental poster who might still love one or two of them ends up angry and reacts. That's why CHU pulled out you soft spot.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) I mean, how hard is it to save slot in a penalty kick into the net. You have some of your best players taking it and making a jokes out of themselves. It was a friendly, yes, but the match had the same status for Internacional as well. The lost against Bayern I wasn't too hard on the team, but this mental state is unacceptable really, friendly or not.

That's why CHU pulled out you soft spot. Personally I think that both players have become a problem for this team, simply becuase of the seniority they hold within this club, having a player like Rino or even Ambro at this point starting simply for the reason that they've been here longer then the rest is just ridiculous to me. And condoning it or trying to justify it just irritates me. I've always been a fan of Rino, never was particularly fond of Ambro, I never made a secret of that, and I'm still a Rino fan, but for me Milan comes first, and at this point in time, having Rino playing in the starting line-up is not going to help this club. Seeing him being made a fool of by some flashy Brazilian kid just gets me p!ssed off, because the old Rino would never have let that happen in a million years. I aso get ridiculously irritated because these same people wanted Pirlo gone like the plague, yet wanted Ambro and Rino to stay on at any cost. Now look at us, our midfield is borderline ridiculous imo Also I never said anything about Pippo, for me he's a bonus for us, willing to step in when needed to provide some crucial goals. But this is not the case with the others

Well, you have to understand that by repeating the same punchline over and over again won't help or solve the problem, it only results to a negative atmosphere.

QUOTE (il_diavolo_mtl @ Jul 28 2011, 05:28 PM) no han is one of the few that differentiate Milan's family atmosphere with it's competitiveness. I can safely say Rino, Ambro, Oddo and seedorf being on this team, let alone all pushing for first team (minus Oddo) is a scary and ridiculous proposition. I think the family BS the management try to feed us stopped being valid after the way they treated Paolo. It's the inner politics within the team that is scary. Like you said, that list of players being starters on most occasions is what is worrying and trying to justify that is ridiculous

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) That whole notion when down the drain for me after that episode. QUOTE (han2503 @ Jul 28 2011, 09:38 PM) It's the inner politics within the team that is scary. Like you said, that list of players being starters on most occasions is what is worrying and trying to justify that is ridiculous Sad but true. You have to hang up the boots one day or another. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) In fact, I can safely say that pretty much most of our seniors have overstayed their welcome, whether by an year or half-a-dozen. Not just that, they actively push for first team action (whether our in the open or to the management), which is even worse. Nesta is the only one who absolutely justifies his place. I know we can't lump and dump all of them together, but still, how hard is it to mutually part ways?! Maybe go play the last few years at a smaller, childhood favorite club, try out another league, get some new experiences. Staying for another season or two is ultimately going to do more harm then good - in terms of integrating new faces, fresher legs and younger talents. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Maybe things will be different this season, who knows. I am of the view that most of these guys do the job in the league (slower game, plus they have tons of experience), but the cup competitions are where the club is most exposed because of them. QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jul 28 2011, 09:48 PM) I was talking about the MF atmosphere (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Yeah that too! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) By the way, I got it the first time round, but since the can was open, I went in and whipped some myself. At the end of the day, none of it matters much. The club is going to do what they feel right, the management I am sure has made some set plans looking at the overall picture. It's not like Warner Bros. when they wanted to make a "comedy" Green Lantern film with Jack Black at the start of the decade, announced it, and then decided to scrap the project due to negative fan reaction on the internet. Club football doesn't work that way, and well, as for Warner Bros, they did not have much success with the new film, anyway. The one that was just released a few weeks back.
