I'm curious. Italy is a little different. What's gonna happen if they put a man on him. Actually strangle him they way they would do to Pirlo. He looks like a static playmaker to me.

His passing might be out of the world, but if they shackle him, he might turn out to be a fifth wheel.

My thoughts exactly. But we can't say unless we try.

We must recognize that Serie A it's not among the fastest leagues in the world. The italian football is based on tactic. I think Ganso will adapt quickly. Serie A fits perfectly for him. He's pretty static, but his passes and vision, combined with Pato's speed, no defense in the world can stand in our way. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

But how is he gonna make those passes, if they're not gonna give him space is the question.

Good point, my assumption is that we'll have to play with someone else who can also play make if he gets shackled.

As an example if we have Fabregas, ganso and ibra on the pitch then it won't be a problem.

Pirlo became a problem for us because Kaka wasn't exactly play making, he was like a second striker playing behind two poachers. If they covered Pirlo, we were in trouble cause then kaka would have to play make and he wasn't that type of player.

Ganso is like Requelme. Would rather pass than score.

Yeah..so replacing Pirlo with Ganso doesn't solve the Block-Pirlo-Block-Milan problem.

I think Cassano is leaving with possibly El Sharaawy as his replacement. Makes sense to me. And Montolivo comes in.

I just don't see us playing without 2 combative box to box types in our mid three. You know the types who are better defending than attacking but can carry the ball forward.

-Alfredo Pedulla, a journalist and market specialist with close ties to milan says that Ganso will be a milan player in 20 days. He did not state whether he will be transfered right now or January, but he will be purchased now.

-Some information has come out about the deal regarding Cassano and Fiorentina. After talks and several meetings, we have agreed a deal with them.

12M Euros over 2 years. Cassano will now have talks with Fio over contract terms. The transfer will be finalized in a week or two. Media reports are conflicting on whether Montolivo will come to milan or not. Some say he's part of the deal, others say no.

-Allegri has come out and said that he thinks El Shaarawy has lots of potential and he is exactly what Milan need. However, he said he won't rush him and will only introduce him when he's ready to play. El Shaarawy is on a co-own at Milan.

-Barcelona have bid 30m E for Cesc Fabregas, which Arsenal have rejected. They are expected to pull out of the race for Fabregas.

- Ganso: "My dream now is to beat Barcelona in Messi's Club World Cup and then joining AC Milan in January."

-We are linked with Eden Hazard. Valued at 20m.

- "Domenico Criscito has closed a deal with Zenit. He will sign a 4 year contract. Zenit has blown away the competition of PSG, Inter and Napoli. " Fee unknown.

-Official: Milan buy out Marco Gaeta and Edmund Hottor. They are no longer on co-own deals. They belong fully to milan.

-Official: Darmian co-own renewed for another year with Palermo.

-According to media reports, Berlusconi has given Galliani 30m in order to sign Fabregas. Some media sources believe that we'll sign Fabregas and Hamsik will go to Arsenal.

==================================================================

Allegri had a press conference today:

-He said Silva will stay at Milan.

-He said he doesn't want another attackers as we have 7 already.

-He said Ganso is a great player.

-On Fabregas and Hamsik: He said after Pirlo's departure we need someone of those characteristics at Milan. He said he puts his faith in Galliani and Berlu to bring him a player of milan calibre.

========================================================

Galliani came out and spoke to the media:

-on Fabregas: "He's not our dream. We never tried for him, there is 0 chance to see him at Milan next season. The same goes for Hamsik. We have no intention of disturbing Napoli"

-He said he's following Copa America closely to find players.

-He said he wants Ganso but they first have to change the Non-Eu Rule.

-He said Cassano has a 3 year contract and won't leave.

-He said many clubs want Silva but he'll stay with Milan.

-He said were not currently after anyone and the squad is fine. If someone does arrive it will be a midfielder and thats it.

I can't say forsure Fabregas will come. I would love it if he did (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

I will say this though. His transfer is following along the same path as all our other Big transfers as its exhibiting similar trends.

I want to believe he'll come but at this point I have no clue. Ill say its a 10% chance he'll come as it stands right now. If Barca sign Sanchez it'll be 30%. If Milan don't bring in Ganso this summer, it'll be 50%.

I don't think we'll sign Hamsik. Simply because Galliani values relationships and partnerships more than actual players. So we'll only sign him if De Laurentis wants to transfer him. If he doesn't, we wont.

Montolivo - Cassano swap makes so much sense to me as well, especially considering our options up front.

I believe the block Pirlo block Milan issue has been resolved. We no longer play from a deep lying playmaker .. The media talk of Ganso, Cesc and Hamsik - introduces new elements to our squad. Moreover I believe Allegri has different ideas than the ones entertained by Carlo or Leonardo, and it starts off with axing Pirlo .. Tassotti said towards the end of the season, that Pirlo's injury hampered our assessment of his ability to hold a LM position on the field (considering MVB &/or Massimo held the middle of the park last season).

I think that is sufficient to cancel out a our weak-spot of 'block Pirlo block Milan' (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

The interesting thing about Ganso is that he's a very talented and very available player. Typically you hear teams like Chelsea and City are also interested but we're not hearing that. It would't surprise me if we've already signed some kind of pre-agreement with him.
