I can see where you're getting from Boban, but I cannot agree with your assessment fully.

We as a club have shipped out far too many promising players that have come back to bite us in the ***, then we end up buying them back

For example...?

QUOTE
I remember when Max Ambrosini played his first game and i thought natural replacement for Albertini

Ambro was actually bought, he isn't a homegrown player. While Coco - well he wasn't that good, we had a much better Serginho and injuries destroyed his career. Where is he now?

I think we'll have to do with Taiwo, Fillippo. I'm not sure about his qualities either, but he must be better than Antonini and Zambrotta. So, all in all, I'd say it's an improvement.

Well, much depends on who will be sold/gone this summer. I like the "one out, one in" policy and IMO we should stick with that approach. So, if Sokratis will be loaned out, Jankulovski and Oddo leave, or Didac get's loaned out - I would expect us to get another defender.

Galliani wants to trim the squad down to 25/26 players. Right now I think we are at 31?

Some news:

-Juve want Cassano. Galliani has come out and says cassano isn't leaving. (keep an eye on this one)

-Silva says that he talks with ganso all the time and he hopes to see him in milan soon.

-media is speculating that flamini might be used in an exchange for Sandro (tottenham).

-news media are saying we are interested in marek hamsik (napoli).

-Botafogo have come out and said that they want Seedorf.

-Galliani is currently working a deal for boateng.

-Media are reporting that Gattuso is most likely going to stay at milan next season.

-We are linked to the following players: Pastore, Ganso, Lamela, hamsik, lukaku, klose, sandro.

In terms of predictions for the market, i'm going to wait and see how the renewals go. Also i'm not 100% convinced Ibra will be here next season so i'll wait and see what Raiola says in the next few weeks.

I just hope Galliani has a precise plan and will stick to it, rather than taking things as they come. We need to build a round and competitive team based on the needs of the coach.

He said few days ago: I never say something is 100% sure but I'll make an exception this time. Ibra is 100% staying in Milan.

QUOTE
Palermo starlet Javier Pastore is the player Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri wants as reward for winning the Scudetto, reports claim.

Whispers circulating in Italy on Tuesday are suggesting that Allegri has met with Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani and owner Silvio Berlusconi to discuss transfer targets.

Although linked with Napoli’s Marek Hamsik yesterday, it is claimed that the Argentine is the club’s real objective.

Allegri wants to challenge for the Champions League next season and believes a player of Pastore’s quality can make that happen.

In theory, the tactician would want to play with Pastore as an attacking midfielder, which would see Kevin Prince Boateng fielded in a deeper left-midfield position.

The proposed swoop does have its difficulties though which could see Pastore remain just a dream for the Rossoneri.

Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini is a tough negotiator and he’s already valued Pastore at €40m, €50m and €60m on occasions this term.

Milan are thus likely to offer cash and players in exchange.

Meanwhile, Milan are also being associated with Udinese midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah. He has a market price of around €15m.

I like both players, and it would be great to see them come to milan.

Yes it is but that's my opinion of it. I'm not attacking you and I have no problem with you saying whatever you want I just said what I thought of your post. And I said that because I believe you post was offensive too. Offensive to common sense... you can't just say someone is rubbish just because you do not like him (well unless he actually is (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) )... in this case it is completely unfounded and obviously driven by strong dislike...

in any case, you cannot whine about being attacked about what you said... you can say whatever you want and I can too. if you think I'm being stupid just say it, I won't be offended and in the end I don't have a problem with you saying so.

For example...?

Yoann "il nuovo Zidane" Gourcuff (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Thing is, today I found an old CD of Milan clips/pictures/etc. in my drawer, sat and watched the goals/highlights/etc. man, what a pathetic team we had in 2007-08. Gourcuff, Emerson, Gilardino, Brocchi, Kaladze,... poor Carlo had to choose from these quality talents (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) not to mention a very raw and inexperienced Pato, an overweight Ronaldo, two unmotivated maestros in Pirlo and Zee... I'm so glad we managed to pull ourselves out of those shitty days so quickly. if I were a Juve fan, I would have had a heart attack already.

tbh I would have thought you guys, who 6 months ago were laughing at Kaka and thanking Fester we sold him, would understand my opinion given I've had it for a great deal longer than you had (until you seem to have changed your minds in this thread).

I think the other post summing things up is right, some people do allow sentiment to get in the way of opinions of players. Time appears to be a great healer for some. And I also see why Kurt exited the Maldini debate as soon as he got slated in this manner as I have here.
