QUOTE (il_diavolo_mtl @ Mar 14 2011, 05:57 PM) for my money he has done well in his first year and considering this year he might win Coach of the year for a third time, a feat only lippi and cappello have done if memory serves. Guidolin/mazzari have a better chance though Guidolin should run with it this season, Udine are playing some amazing football

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Mar 14 2011, 07:22 PM) According to Pellegatti of Mediaset, Pirlo should be fit for the derby. Fingers crossed. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/96.gif) Wow do we need that. I'd like to see him get a run in before the derby though... I don't think he can have his DM spot back, Markie V is a stud there. Here's what I think: Cassano Pato B-Tang Emmanuelson Pirlo Markie V Janku/Ant Silva Nesta Abate Kalac I rate Emmanuelson, though I know a few of you on here don't.

Kalac? Are you serious?
And you really think van Bommel cut Pirlo out of his standard position?

And you really think van Bommel cut Pirlo out of his standard position? Haha, had to make sure everyone was awake (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Yea, Pirlo has been under performing in that position for a while now. He's a killer crosser, ball controller, passer, and shooter but a weak defender. All signs that point to pushing him farther up the field. In his brief stints in an offensive position, he's looked great.Edit: @ X-off Our goal rate is very high with Boateng as the AM.

Why not try to push Pirlo a little more forward this time, since we miss Ibra?
