So what? If a goal shouldn't stand it shouldn't, no matter how obvious or not obvious it is

are you sure it should not count? I think it was more good than bad, after all it was Canini that sent it in not Rannochia. This on the other hand is clear. And in any case I don't want to beat them like this just before Inter beat Cagliari with a controversial goal.

In the mix up the ref must have not saw it, because in some angles it actually looks like it hit his chest, I still think the Inter goal was offside. Either way you cannot say one was much more clear so it shouldn't count while if the other was not as clear then it's ok to let it by.

Merkel has got to go at half time... He can't even pass the ball 5 metres, it's just not good enough.
Ibra is tired, he should have been rested for this game, pato on for him at half time as well or a little while into the half.

Decent half. Robinho looking good and Cassano just needs a bit more timing, like he had for our goal and we will create a lot more chances.

Gattuso is starting to remind me of Seedorf... Way past his prime and never gonna come back, time to retire for him as well.

Anywhooo...

Boateng needs to come on in the second half for either Merkel or Rino. Pato for Robinho. I really want to see him come on, hate seeing him on the bench after the way he's been playing lately

Why for robinho? he is playing well and deserves a full game. Ibra needs the rest and he isn't doing much in this game.. Besides the header for the goal. Agreed that boateng should come on.

There was no mix up, if you check the replays you'll see that the ref has a great position with no one in front of him. I'm not saying one should count and the other should not I'm just pointing out that despite this being more obvious we were whining last night about their goal and are easily looking the other way for this...

There's as many Merkel haters as there are fanboys on this forum. Never seen a Milan player divide an opinion like this before on MF.
