Late post to this thread but Rangers have 4 points from 6. Much better start to the CL than last season. Doing a lot better - a good draw away at Man Utd then a solid win over Bursaspor.

Tough games to come but much more ground for optimism now.

I wouldn't be so surprised if you guys go through, 1 of the 2 toughest fixtures you had is already out of the way and you got points from it. Another solid showing and a draw against Valencia away, and I'd put money on you guys advancing through

He's shown some very nice moments, but overall I expected a little more for £4M. He's scored a few goals, and is obviously still settling in, but at this precise moment I'm not bowled over by him.

£4m buys you nothing nowadays though!

£4M in the SPL is about £20M in the EPL.

We expect for £4M an SPL scale of £20M in the EPL.

You give me £4m and I will furnish you exactly what I can buy with it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

That kind of scoreline for Arsenal in CL is considered normal.

Yes. The do it for quite some time. Trashing the weaker opposition and then get knocked out by unfortunate draw.

Oh deja vu. I've seen these lines before! this is the part where Locked jumps in defending his favorite team...

I said by unfortunate draw. That makes a difference (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Maybe, but the team they played are hardly pushovers. Though Eastern European sides tend to be far stronger at home, so it'll be interesting to see how Arsenal do away.

No you haven't. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
It's 3 games and 14 goals so far, which is more than any previous CL season. As for the "trash weak sides and fall apart when the going gets tough", I'm not sure I'll buy that one now. Sure, Braga at home was a pushover, but a 6-0 scoreline in the CL is still something special. Partizan were comfortably beaten in one of the most hostile stadiums in Europe, and Shakhtar has a 27-2-1 record for their last 30 games in their domestic league.
By all means, none of these are the European elite (unless you use that term in a very broad sense that includes 2009 UEFA Cup winners Shakhtar), but to write off these victories as 'nothing special' just won't do it.

You're only awesome because you have Wilshire in the team. Fact.
