QUOTE (han2503 @ Aug 30 2010, 07:06 PM) You'll get yours acid, mark my words That we'll see. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) QUOTE (Tennie @ Aug 30 2010, 07:11 PM) That said, Michael Laudrup is coaching Mallorca and he's a pretty good coach. True, but still all things considered, it was a disastrous start to the season. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Most of the Madrid fans seems to agree. I guess it just was that sort of a day, they had everything, possession, shots on goal, target. Everything except the end result. And Higuain had another off game with more than one wasted chances. A few more early slip ups like this and the league could be over before it begins for RM. I am sure Mourinho understands this, one can't afford to draw in the SPL - Barca are that good, and they'll definitely punish you for that.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 30 2010, 09:49 PM) I was watching the last few minutes of the game, ball possession said: Real Mallorca 51% - 49% Real Madrid. That's funny. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Soccernet says it different. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) Maybe what you saw was 2nd half possession, which I agree favored Mallorca more (Real players were just out of wind towards the end). Here are the stats: Mallorca//Real Madrid Shots (on Goal) 7(2)//16(5) Fouls 16//15 Corner Kicks 1//4 Offsides 5//9 Time of Possession 36%// 64%Yellow Cards 2//2 Red Cards 0 //0 Saves 5//2

But I'm positive I saw ball possession in favor of Mallorca at some point in the game.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 30 2010, 11:53 PM) Hm, you're probably right. But I'm positive I saw ball possession in favor of Mallorca at some point in the game. True, teams get period of extended possession at different points in the match, so maybe it was that. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Besides, it's how one makes it count though that matters. Madrid definitely didn't. QUOTE (Tennie @ Aug 26 2010, 09:35 PM) I might actually cheer for inert to beat Bremen. To avenge Samp. If anything Samp should be looking for revenge from themselves. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I was watching live and can't believe how they let guard off towards the very end of the match. After doing so well (dare I say perfectly) throughout the whole match. Bremen had to do what they had to do. Can't say I was not heartbroken after that match. They deserved a CL spot, through whole of last season, and up towards the 92% mark of their tie with WB. Oh well.
