QUOTE (Dracoris @ Aug 21 2010, 07:00 PM) *
Galliani has finally broken his silence and has stated that there is a 99.9% chance Ibra will NOT come.

milannews.it

He did not say that the market was closed however, which is something that usually comes up about this time.

He's been saying the market is closed since late June (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

You basically cannot believe anything that comes out of his mouth

Berlusconi tomorrow might make official the transfer of Ibrahimovic. Yesterday he had a meeting with all sponsors of Milan and asked their help to transfer Ibrahimovic. The transfer of Ibra is just a matter of hours.

Do Galliani and Berlusconi actually communicate with each other?

We don't know it yet. That news about Berlusconi is just a report, Berlusconi did no declaration, but still I hope that to be true.

I just don't know if I want him in Milan or not!! he is so not our type of player!

In the other hand, he's technically magnificent, he's proved in Serie A, and we have a good chance to fight for trophies with him.

Still, I don't know.

A while back there were rumours about buying Zlatan, and those were nightmare rumours to me. But now it has been pretty clear we won't sign a different striker like the famous example Dzeko, and loaning Zlatan is a whole different story than buying him. Loaning him is not that bad, like buying is (long term that's stupid, surely for the amount it might have been). Also, just one season and then he will be gone and hopefully we will sign Dzeko or a different proper attacking player to replace Zlatan (if we loan him this season). I really don't like Zlatan, but I love AC Milan and the prospect of AC Milan with Zlatan is what matter to me and I like that prospect, more than the prospect we got without him.

If we would loan him. What do you guys prefer? Ronaldinho, Zlatan, Pato, or sell Ronaldinho and buy an AMC to play behind Pato and Zlatan? The latter would bring more balance to our team (we would have 4 actual midfielders instead of 3), and it would make Pato a centre forward instead of playing wide. Also, Ronaldinho has got only 1 year left on his contract, and isn't a player for the future. My preference would be:
This season:...........next season:
Pato, Zlatan............Pato, Dzeko
new AMC................new AMC (the new AMC can be Van der Vaart, Honda, Ganso, Diego, ...)

tomorrow? No... they'll announce it after the game when we get our *** kicked by barca. But its looking pretty clear that we are going to sign him. The fact that galliani comes out and denies it too with 99% LOL means we've def signed him or are close to.

It might not be a loan. I have a feeling Fly Emirates will have a big say on how this transfer goes.

Forget about the AM, this year we're stuck with Dinho and we'll have to make do with him. Next year though, your idea could come into light.

stuck with dinho? You make it sound like its a bad thing.

Dinho-Ibra-Pato

This would be the best attack in italy. If all three stay healthy, we can seriously challenge for the scudetto.

If Ibra comes we would be serious candidate for CHL too.

Abbiati
Zambrota - Nesta - Silva - Antonini
Flamini - Pirlo - Ambrosini
Pato - Ibrahimovic - Ronaldinho

Swap Boateng with either Flamini or Ambro.

I'd go:

---------abbiati-----------

Papa-nesta-silva-antonini

--flamini---pirlo------

-------seedorf-------

-pato---ibra---dinho

or

-----abbiati-----

zamb-nesta-silva-antonini-

---flamini--pirlo--boateng--

-------seedorf----------

---pato-----ibra

No way. Flamini is the only one who can defend well. Way too weak defensively.
