Rino is old and no more the player he once was so I can get over him leaving if it means a youngster will replace him. time to build the future.

Is Strasser any good? I never got the chance to properly see him play.

Exactly. It's time...

Yes, Strasser is any good.

FIVE PLAYERS have been called-up for Italy.

U19 Italy coach Daniele Zoratto has called-up five players for AC Milan Primavera for the team a get together from August 29 to September 1 at the Park Hotel La Borghesiana in Rome.

Zoratto has name of Luca Ghiringhelli, defender (class 92′), Mattia De Sciglio, defender (class 92′), Luca Santonocito, midfielder (class 91′), Simone Verdi, forward (class 92′) and Giacomo Beretta, forward (class 92′).

Also Slovenia national team called-up their youngsters, and in the squad was AC Milan Primavera midfielder Mitja Novinic.

Meanwhile, the Primavera drew today 2-2 with Solbiatese. The young Rossoneri fought back after the home side led 2-0 through Marco Ezio Fossati and Simone Andrea Ganz.\

wow for de sciglio and ghiringhelli to get called up, they must have really impressive lately. But i gotta admit i'm lovin the fact that 5 players are from milan. Thats what buying a youth system does for you baby (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif)

I can understand the intention here, you know buying youth players cheap, and sell them for profits. And if they're good enough, promote them. But are we trying to build the best youth team in the World or the best senior team in the World? My only concern is where are these primavera players will be going in the future.

This is a new thread to discuss our highly talented kids. This is to seperate them from the actual primavera team because some of them are not currently with our team for example Palsochi, zigoni etc; therefore they wouldn't really qualify as Primavera. I'm going to give my list below:

Well I thought I'd give you guys a close look at our high quality youth products.

The players listed below are what I would rate high quality talent that have a chance in the future for playing for ACM.

I will rate them out of 10 as well depending on their Potential Quality (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) (These numbers are from what i've seen of them or read. These numbers can and will most likely fluctuate in the future. These ratings are done FM style, but out of 10 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Luca Santonocito

QUOTE
interview with Milannews.it

What are your dreams?
“My dream is to the play in the first team. I hope to establish quickly in the Primavera team, and then jump into the first team. There must be luck, and know how to exploit in the right moment, seize the opportunities.”

Can you be called-up to the Trofeo Berlusconi?
“I do not know, it would be a better display.”

Considering the experiences with Inter and Celtic, have you ever played with or against a player that has a bright future?
“No, I don’t remember anyone in particular, but undoubtedly, the strongest [I played with] is Santonocito (laughs).”

Do you feel like home now at Milan?
“Yes, I feel home, absolutely.”

Interview with milannews.it

The signing came and lacks only the formality
"We arrived yesterday afternoon and is my official return to Milan"

How are you feeling after what might be called your "homecoming"?
"I am very happy with this move and tried a lot of joy nell'apporre signing the contract"

You return to Milan after an important experience with Inter and the national youth. You think you can become a reference point for spring and get you noticed by Mr. Allegra?
"I hope very much there. I think I have the ability to get where you said, and going forward in time, I hope to improve and gain more experience "

Last season in the spring of Milan had great visibility and this year there is much attention to the youth market. What feelings do you have? Already you feel you have responsibilities?
"I will hope to reciprocate the trust placed in me. Now I do not feel any special responsibility on me but the rest of the season I hope to have "

In conclusion, you've got to hear Mr. Stroppa?
"No, not yet but I think I see him directly on 23, day of the meeting of the Spring"

QUOTE
New AC Milan signing Edmund Hottor landed in Italy’s fashion capital yesterday to begin his Rossoneri adventure.

The 16-year-old Ghanaian midfielder joined the Serie A giants from Triestina this month and is expected to link up with the club’s youth team for the time being.

“I am very happy to be here,” he admitted to Sportitalia.

“When my agent told me about it, I couldn’t quite believe him. Shortly after I called my mother who is in Ghana and when I travelled back to Africa I threw a party with my brothers and friends.

“My mother was very proud that I had moved to Milan.”

Hottor arrived in Italy in 2008 and made his professional debut during a Serie B match between Triestina and Gallipoli in October 2009.

“He reminds me of Massimo Ambrosini,” explained Triestina youth team director Franco Schiraldi.

“He is a holding midfielder who has good feet. He prefers sitting in front of the backline and likes directing play.”
