alot of iranians who aint muslim in the west and are like anti-islam and anti-goverment tend to use the term persia so they can remind themselves of there ancestors who were zoroastrian before the islamic conquest and not of modern day iran which they want to overthrow with the b.s green movement

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) aint gonna go political though

A LOT can be said on this but this is the summer transfer window so I'm not gonna bother.... EDIT: let me just say you are not well-informed at all. everything you said in your post is terribly off the mark.

Sign Gerrard and Torres.

Because Liverpools old coach is probably going to Inter , I think Gerrard is going to Inter.

Its the same in Sweden (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) When somebody ask do you speak Iranie ?
Its not "Iranie" It's Persian (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Its hard to explain in English..
Khobi ? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

EDIT: Jack, do you know anyone beside me and vahid that uses Persia instead of Iran?!

Well here in Bangalore at least, there are quite a few people from your neck of the woods who're studying here. I guess it's cheaper than going to the West or Europe and the degree has the same level of importance.

So if I do get to talk to them, they often say they're from Persia. The only time they use Iran is when they refer to their football team.

I think Persian women are among the most beautiful I have seen. Though some of them totally ruin it by trying too hard. I know better than to chat them up though! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

logically its a good deal because no one is willing to purchase him.

Oddo earns 4m a season until 2011.

All we have done is extend that deal by a year and reduced the wage to 1.5m a year.

So he stays on an extra year and we save 1 mil. Not a bad deal now only if galliani would still go ahead and replace him, we'd be in business.

You're supporting him? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) All you do is bash him no matter what he does.

Sorry, I meant "I can barely stand him...", but I got confused with the Italian equivalent which is "sopportare".

Sandro Rosell has named his price for the Ibrahimovic: €35 million - source : goal.com

In my opinion it's fair price and if we don't sign him now WE WILL REGRET !

Regret? We can do better with that kind off money. The only thing I'd regret is seeing the pri@k play in red-black.

I still regret why we didn't sign him 3-4 years ago from Juventus when we had chance. Zlatan is born for Serie A, he proved it with Juventus and Inter. If you think that signing of Ibra would effect on your "pride" let me say you're wrong. If transfering Mancini was ok , why not to sign Ibra ?!
