Am I the only one exacting about this? Great that we have someone that can replace Seedrof and Pirlos amazing free-kicks. If we are going to make Inter upset, it better be this not Ibra. I see no reason buying Ibra, it would be one of Gallini's stupied moves again. That way I was happy when I read this. I hope the rest of 0.01 % is not moving to Milan.

QUOTE (Fishdoll @ Jul 6 2010, 03:21 PM) Eder has been linked with Milan off and on over the past couple of months. He did very well indeed at Brescia this past season. Isn't Éder a Empoli player? I'd be glad with him, IMO that would be a great deal.

I'm still not convinced Honda really is something special, but...I'm all for it. As said before, it could expand our Asian contingent and bring in some extra profit which is always welcome.

I'd like Ibra to be that x striker but that second article is saying there is only 1% left for him to leave Barca. If we buy Balotelli we don't need Honda. He wouldn't have place in first XI formation.

QUOTE (CHU-LIP @ Jul 6 2010, 02:19 PM) No man, Pato and Balotelli are two strikers, x striker needs to be an attacking midfielder, or else a winger.
Balotelli would be awesome, but Honda is still welcoome though. Honda can play behind Pato and Balotelli. Makes more sense than Pato - x striker - Balotelli. This is what I wanted to say : Pato - left winger x striker - striker (Honda doesn't play here) Balotelli - right winger x striker Pato ------------- Balotelli

Honda did play a position similar to Totti for Roma. What I like about Honda is that he's got the mentality to graft hard for the team. This combined with his technique makes him pretty good. He's left footed, which to me is excellent, since we only have right footed dead ball specialists. He's also incredibly versatile. He can even play as a LB. Being Japanese, hard work is probably ingrained in him. (Yes, I'm stereotyping.. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )....and there's the commercial benefits. He's Japan's idol right now. On the flip side: Is he physical enough? Can he handle the culture change? Will he demand starting position? How much will CSKA charge?

You can put ONE of them wide, and put an actual winger on the other side. But now you play with 3 forwards. 3 players who are good in goalscoring not so much in passing and crossing. There is no balance in the team this way (too attacking, too little defending skills), midfield and attack isn't linked well.

There is no balance in the team this way (too attacking, too little defending skills), midfield and attack isn't linked well. Pato can do better as left winger than Striker or Right Winger, he has pace, is fast, powerfull shots ( he is kind of c.Ronaldo player ) Balotelli can also play as Striker but for last 2 seasons at Inter he proved that he is better when he plays in the wing. If we want fast game (dynamic) we have to play with players like Pato and Balotelli in the wings ,not Ronaldinho ( who was very good last season ) but I dont think winger should be the playmaker (that's what Dinho was last season). IMO this would be very balanced squad: x striker Pato ----------- Balotelli Pirlo x midfielder ------- Flamini

You can put him wide, but that doesn't make him a winger. Pato is bad in crossing, passing, beat his guy... all winger aspects.. Pato is awesome in making smart runs, his pace, his shot, his header also... he is made to be a striker... I find your team far from balanced, this would be more balanced: Pato, Balotelli Honda Ambrosini, Pirlo, Flamini (upgrading this midfield is an idea, but that's not the point for now)

I find your team far from balanced, this would be more balanced: Pato, Balotelli Honda Ambrosini, Pirlo, Flamini (upgrading this midfield is an idea, but that's not the point for now) But there's no classic striker. You can't depend your attack on two players, one of them don't have physical attributes and the other is not striker at all. If we want to play 4-3-1-2 formation, in the attack Pato must have a team mate like Borriello, Inzaghi or Huntelaar. I think you get what I want to say. I really like your formation but in my opinion Honda, Pato and Balotelli would be "lost" if they would have to play agains defenders like Lucio, Juan ...
