Given that all we saw of Onyewu in a Milan jersey was the summer tour and in the very early part of the season when everyone sucked, I don't feel safe in rendering a verdict.

Melo was/is not crap. he just wasn't made for Juve, just as much as Sheva wasn't made for Chelsea. same for Diego.

LOL.

People only take notice of his tackles and interventions, but have no clue that his tactical mistakes last night were horrific.

give the guy a break, he plays for usa afterall. Its not like he's maldini or something. He did well against rooney and heskey and crouch 95% of the time.

He should play alongside t. silva to see if the combo works. If it does, wowza!!

He wouldn't work even if he played alongside Maldini or Baresi at their prime. The guy is utter crap.

You've yet to really see the guy play for Milan, come on man. You don't have a flipping clue how good he could/might be or how bad. He made one tactical mistake on the goal, and part of the fault there is split with Clark, who completely failed to track his man, which was Gerrard. He had a hell of a second half yesterday which by the way was his first time playing 90 minutes in almost a year b/c of the injury.

I remember his few minutes against Zurich. God, my eyes had not set on such horror for a very long time.

I think we could say that about the entire squad that match, no?

Sorry, I just think the guy is absolute bollòcks and when I read all these praising comments I can't help but chuckle at myself.

In a sense, yes. But individually, Onyewu managed to do worse than the whole team had done until his entrance.
