QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Jun 1 2010, 04:17 PM) *
You're saying R80 must be sold, at whatever price we get, because he's an attacking mid-fielder who does not defend?

Dude, what? That was one of the fair points I made, and if you don't consider it viable, then I retract it. But what about his other flaws?

QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Jun 1 2010, 04:38 PM) *
Here's a stat for you, R80 scored in the last game and that was his first goal in 18 games.

True. Nobody seems to recall that until the game against Fiorentina (which he scored on penalty, mind you), Dinho hadn't scored since Milan 4-0 Siena, and that was in fucking January!

I wonder if any of the R80 fans have actually seen him play live?

What's your point?

No one is saying that Dinho is perfect. my point personally is that he's one of our better players and there is no point in selling him UNTIL we DO HAVE someone who's capable of doing what he does in the team.

Well the tv covers up certain things, when you actually see him play you realise what we're saying.

My point was that all I was hearing was stats - he was second highest scorer etc, so I just thought I'd add one that had been overlooked.

And IMO Seedorf can do exactly what R80 does.

Then why didn't he?

Stats don't lie man. R80 met the numbers, he hit the quota. It can't be put any plainer.

And wasn't Pato out for almost all of that time? And Ronnie was facing triple coverage every time he touched the ball?

I meant the "the Ronadinho fans" bit and the general tone of the comment. I'm not even a Dinho fan, I just defend him against what I think is unjust.

Good one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

OK, fair enough.

Of course, if only we could go back 3-4 years in time...

If you argue that Dinho can't run and slows our counter attacks, the I argue that Seedorf cannot even move!

Where did I say that? Think before you post.

18 games without a goal - stats don't lie

If he stands still and waits for the ball then he will be triple teamed.

Went 18 games without a goal, and even then it was a penalty.

I totally agree that Seedorf doesn't run, but I've witnessed Seedorf totally dominating games, I have yet to see R80 totally dominate a game.

also wrong he managed to score against man u (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) and gave an assist

lstn guys you can give me all the negative stats about dinho but at the end of the day he is our leading goal-scorer and gave the most assists period, you can't just kick him out like that
