It applies compulsorily to news items. Though you can merge if you feel like it. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I was referring to his wage bill. If we buy Dzeko/Player X after spending big bucks, we will have to get rid of one of our current people so as to let Pandev play. I don't see that happening, especially since he doesn't have superstar clout. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) TBH, this is the only reason I can think of. Galliani is a big fan of Pandev, and even once said (when we signed that agreement with the Macedonian FA) that it would help us find the next Pandev or something like that. Yet we just let him slip? I think we have something cooking in the oven, and it's gonna come out this summer.

QUOTE (Jack Sparrow @ Dec 26 2009, 09:00 PM) It applies compulsorily to news items. Though you can merge if you feel like it. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) I would but I can't delete my own posts so it doesn't make any difference. QUOTE I was referring to his wage bill. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (AAHH quit using (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) 's! it feels weird to see them in your posts!) But we have a couple of players whose contracts run out at the end of this season, don't we? QUOTE TBH, this is the only reason I can think of. Galliani is a big fan of Pandev, and even once said (when we signed that agreement with the Macedonian FA) that it would help us find the next Pandev or something like that. Yet we just let him slip? Perhaps you're right on that one. QUOTE I think we have something cooking in the oven, and it's gonna come out this summer. We've been expecting great signings since god knows when and nothing's happened (apart from signing Pato who, despite carrying a rather big price tag, wasn't a star player/guaranteed to do magic straightaway). we even sold one of our key players. whether or not that trends continues for yet another season and we still don't dig into our pockets for a star player of Dzeko's stature, we'll just have to wait and see. I can't say I feel very optimistic about it. PS. I personally don't think Dinho was a big signing!

No he wasn't a big signing....but we seem to be clearing our garage of old tools this season.
Favalli, Dida and Pippo (the last of the old warhorses) will have their contracts evaluated only at the end of the season. I don't know how that's gonna go. I'll probably cry if Pippo leaves, but I think I should keep a box of tissues handy just in case.
But anyway barring Pippo, none of our current forwards look like leaving.
As for next summer, I think we will be very prudent, but I think the following factors:
-Debts cleared -Lowered wages- with Kaka's sale, players leaving, Rino's lower wage new contract -CL money - Serie A sponsorship changes, where money no longer filters to Serie B - New sponsorships - Emirates, Tasci and a few others - New shirt sponsor for 2010
All that said, will give us some money to spend on the transfer market. We'll have to see. It won't be galaticos, but certainly some of the best from Tier 2 Europe I think.

This is probably what you're referring to. Yup....bad show for sure! And it's tough to look at his dribbles etc and say he can do it in Serie A. Until Gooch shows up, I can't even say how good the Belgian league defence is...since I don't follow it at all. EDIT: Tribal's running a story...saying Jovanovic is joining us this summer on a free. He's called the 'Serbian Snake' in a fan tribute. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Somehow it didn't strike me as complimentary...

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Dec 26 2009, 02:51 PM) How many strikers do they need?!? I can't believe we didn't move for him... Who says we did not move for him? Don't forget that Inter would offer him more than we would... and they'd even go unreasonably high if they had to. We don't wanna go there right now. I don't care too much for him anyway. I don't think he'd add anything much (if any at all) different to our attack. If we're to spend any money I'd rather we spent it on some other type of forward or even better on a fullback. We desperately need those.

Also i'm sure no matter how much it costs, we'll get Dzeko. The majority of Milanfans all across want him at our club simply because he is a Rosso fan and he's very good. Therefore, if we all want him that bad and he's in our price range (under 40M) we'll most defenitly go after him. Like that guy Parisi said in his interview earlier; if we loan out Adiyiah, we'll sign a winger. If we don't, we'll probably just use him. We'll sign a defender for sure though. Whether that is Mongugu, Astori etc etc etc.

I read somewhere that Mongongu was coming in summer instead of Kaladze (maybe it was some news item you posted?)...and that Astori would be coming in this winter most probably.

Yea thats one of em...I can't find the video i found with all his blowups. I also saw a vid of him flopping when he had a clear run on goal (one on one with keep) but flopped instead. I really don't want him, and I don't think we need him if we sign Dzeko. If we sign Krasic, Dzeko and a LB/RB we'll be set. If Ronaldinho keeps his current form (or improves on it) Dzeko will have a great life in Milan. Whatsup with that video of Krasic's Milan birthday cake? Was he a milan fan as a boy? I wonder if they know something we don't........

Tuttosport is reporting that Genoa are after both Storari and Huntelaar in January.
Tuttomercatoweb is quoting a Belgian paper saying that Standard Liege's Jovanovic will come to Milan in June.
Gazzetta is reporting that Milan have beat the Gobbi to sign a highly rated 14 year old Slovenian, Zan Benedidic.

Yeah when it comes to the kiddies, we certainly seem to be splashing out the cash.
