Last match, I can't believe that he is a man with 2-year-injury. He plays like as he did 2 years ago.

During years, I always think Sheva - Pippo is the best choice for us ... One is around, attracts defenders, one hides and suddenly appears then kills ...

sheva-pipo was our attacking duo in 2005 than sheva had a dip in form i like pato-pippo now

This thread is the only place where i could think to post the following post

I picked up an Inzaghi shirt from the 2002/03 season (for like £16, longsleeve too!) and i had no idea the shirt was sort of dual layered.

There is a layer of cloth which has the red black stripes (bear with me here) then another layer which is semi permiable and has the logo, adidas sign etc

I just thought i should share that fascinating piece of information with everyone

Pippo Inzaghi Honoured To Be Labelled As A Milan Legend

Milan veteran Pippo Inzaghi was at his brilliant best midweek, as his brace guided the Rossoneri to an impressive 2-1 victory away to Marseille, to cap off a perfect return to the Champions League.

The experienced striker is aware though that his team will need to continue in this fashion, if they are to pose any threat this season.

“The Champions League is a special competition. Sure we may have won the first match, but we will be obliged to win the second, and then we have to face Real Madrid twice, so we cannot take anything for granted,” Inzaghi explained to Sky.

“If we want to reach the levels of those I favour, such as Barcelona and Chelsea, then we will have to find continuity in our game.”

The 36-year-old’s midweek double means that he has now equalled Gerd Muller’s European goal scoring record with 70 goals, and he went on to discuss his joy at achieving such a feat.

He continued, “My record of goals? These milestones in the history of such prestigious cups are a great satisfaction for me, because so many great champions have played for this club, including [George] Weah, [Marco] Van Basten and [Andriy] Shevchenko.

“I will hold onto to the words of [the vice president Adriano] Galliani forever, when he said that I am a legend like [Paolo] Maldini.”

The veteran had a few final comments to make in regards to another champion in his team in Ronaldinho, a player who has been desperately struggling for form this season.

He concluded, “Ronaldinho is a great champion, and we all know that this is the case. Even though he didn’t play in Marseille, he was our biggest fan, as he was ready to encourage us all before the game.

“It has happened to me many times before where I haven’t been called upon to play, but at these times we must think about what’s best for the team, as obviously everyone always would like to play.”

I don't mind them saying Great Champion as long as they use it in the past tense. None of our players are great Champions, they've won nothing.

From now until he retires, I would never bet against SuperPippo scoring at crucial moments. He is our saviour, no one can deny that.
