those who are usually afraid of critisim would also tend to vote because its somewhat confidential!

I can't see why somebody would be afraid of criticism on a forum!

What league has greatly improved this year. I would honestly have to go Serie A because it is reshaping and i see us Going further in Euro competitions (uefa-CL and so on). One can also make an argument for the ELP, Bundesliga(not really though) and obviously la liga.

Gosh, dst, since you already know what I think about this, I guess I don't need to post an opinion myself. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(For the record, no, I never did like Kaka and still don't. Think there's a bit of money whore about him, yes,

We may disagree on the captaincy issue, but we're dead on the nail here.

QUOTE
but ultimately I think the transfer to Real was one that suited everyone concerned.)

It did. What gets me about the whole thing is the fact he, like so many before him at Milan and other clubs, swore allegiance to us beyond words. He wanted to be the captain, an idol, and finish his career here.

The Man City bid comes in and we accept, and leave it up to Kaka, who rejects because he wants to stay with us.

Then Real Madrid come in, offer less, we still accept, and he goes. He leaves us with the nice quote that he only wished the deal had gone through sooner.

If Kaka had been self sacrificial he'd have left in January to give Milan the money. No, he wanted to leave for Madrid, and was waiting for them to offer.

In a way, Kaka cost us 50M through selfishness.

I'll just mention that Tennie has admitted she never liked Kaka... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I liked him up till about the start of last season. At one point he was my favourite player.
Now I dislike him as a liar and hope his Madrid career fails miserably.

For me, personally, his sale was a tragady. The details don't concern me - I know he was held in high regard at Milan so his sale would not have happened unless it was necessary.

He's the kind of player that simply cannot be replaced. I'd like to think that he was true to his word, and wanted to remain but left in order to help us balance the books.

So you're saying if Random FC from a 5x5 tournament in the North Pole had offered half a million euros he should have gone to them so that we get the biggest offer? This is ridiculous. Of course he did not want to go to City, why should he?

I believe he would have never left Milan if we did not want to sell him and you believe otherwise so there's no point going on with this as it will get us nowhere.

The way I see it, a guy that takes time to talk about his former club in his presentational speech is way too tied to it to have gone willingly.

No no I just found that funny, I was not laughing at you. I'll create the poll if you give me the choices you want me to add.

Indeed, it's probably not the best thing to continue this argument because it doesn't appear as if there's going to be agreement.

So....

Poll ideas for the coming season?

Or should we just let dst be creative?

While Kaka' did want a good deal for the club, he didn't want to be forced somewhere that he didn't want to go. I believe had Chelsea came in for him, he would have gone. But where City will be in a few years is still up in the air, nobody knows how quickly they will succeed, why throw your career away for the good of a club? I also think more of the blame should go to the management, they were more than happy to seemingy force him out the club to make a quick few $$$.

Im with Mike. With the level of money we seem willing to invest, he is irreplacable. The few players in the World that are as good as him are simply not in our price range.

I already have (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

'Overall feelings on Kaka's departure'

1: Club (Berlu and Galliani) forced him out.
2: Lying Judas who never intended to stay
3: A good business deal for all concerned

Danke.

Not read the whole thread so apologies if I've missed folk saying these before...

Best 'lesser' league to scout for new talent:

1: France
2: Belgium
3: Brazil
4: Portugal
5: Netherlands
6: English Championship
7: Serie B

And:

What is your priority this coming season?

1: Scudetto title
2: CL/Europe title
3: Respectable displays in both to regain credibility.

Next poll should be Ambro vs Rino.

Seeing as its a very commonly discussed topic, mostly between me and kurt, but everyone has their oppinion on the subject it should be made into a poll so we can see where the board members stand on this

We've waited long enough. Time to know the truth how many people on here want Silvio gone?

Just make a poll along these lines!

Should he go / stay? Would he invest in the team again? Does he care about the team still?

Time to see some statistics! Make a Poll.

I for one am now willing to see us part ways if Silvio doesn't shape up!

Enough is enough - He has been beating around the bush way too long! He is one of the world's richest & most powerful and yet still refuses to help where out where necessary!

We are fine as we are - Are you fcvking kidding me Silvio??!

He has been saying this for years now, but yet this team has lacked consistency and pride for years now.

Not to mention challenging for Serie A! - When last were we really able to do that?! But yet we are fine as we are?!

Fin for what?! - Mid Table, Early CL Eliminations (or no CL at all), Laughing stock of Europe & Italy?

He needs to shape up or ship out (sell) - Simple as that!

Like someone rightly said in another thread - He needs to realize that he is not the only milan fan just because he owns the club! The fans are the ones who bring in part of the revenue to the club and share the passion of the club!

Sure he is the president and has brought great success and joy to the club. But that was when his motives seemed to be different! Times have changed!

MAKE THE POLL - Lets see how many still have faith in him.

Where will milan finish in the Table:

First
Second
Third
fourth
fifth
6th
Mid Table
Relegation
