We've signed som Belgian CB named Vermaelen from Ajax, anyone know anything about him?

I've seen him a few times, he's good. Seriously though... what's wrong with Wenger!??

Yeah pal and he's young too. He's 23 yeah, not a teenager this time, I guess that's an improvement but if these are going to be your signings this summer too.. well prepare for another 4th place in the league and pray for Roma's and Villareal's in the CL!

I think he's the guy that scored at Villa Park for them last season, he looked decent enough, but that's only 1 game. CB is a position of need for you though, so it seems like a solid signing to me.

Okay I will. I just hope you'll feel relaxed too once the window is closed.

Well he's going to have to pray real hard for Roma, seeing as they're not even in the CL this year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

My advice, pray for Milan, because with the way things are going, the @rse kids will beat us while they're sucking on their pacifiers, holding their security blankets and watching an old school ep of Tom and Jerry

I actually thought that was real the first time I saw it, but then I saw what the front page supposedly was.. I'm not sure Owen would try and advertise himself with a picture of himself getting injured on the front page though..

So assuming this brochure is correct, and Owen's injury woes are behind him. Should we be interested. At his peak he was really good. And now he's available on a free...and can play as lone striker.

I know it's going to be a 90% no answer. But I'd like to hear some reasons, other than injury-prone. I mean he was once European footballer of the year. But that was a decade ago...

QUOTE
News of the World: Samir Carruthers, highly-rated skipper of Arsenal Under-16s, has stunned the Gunners by walking out to join Aston Villa.

This really surprises me. It's the 2nd kid in weeks that's walked out on Arsenal to join us. I think anything but winning the youth league + FA Cup would be a disaster next season based on how good we were and the players we've picked up in the last few months.

QUOTE
News of the World: Aston Villa are keen to sign emerging Spanish star Jurado as they prepare for an overhaul of their midfield. Villa chief Martin O'Neill is willing to pay Atletico Madrid £7million for the 22-year-old.

I don't really know him, any good?

So assuming this brochure is correct,

It was made by a Sunerland fan I believe. The prospective buyer of Newcastle was also found out to be a Sunderland fan winding the Geordies up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Nah...that one was caught right up front. It was a cool idea though. I should get something like that done for myself.

But on topic...would you be interested in Owen, if his wage demands were halved. 50 per week.
