He's done it twice though...it hasn't happened just once.

So he's really gullible? Honestly guys, ICK factor aside, I don't think it's that big a deal.

He's just another nineteen-year-old kid with raging hormones. No big deal. But I think what people here are concerned about is the fact that he performed such a lewd act while he was in a relationship with someone he publicly expressed his desire to marry. Therefore, it turned from dumb kid stuff to a considerable lapse in judgment.

You're essentially saying that you'd rather be a drug addict than engage in a one-off stupid decision like Pato?

No, you're basing it on different levels!

How about I'm saying, I'd rather try drugs for a one off time, rather than do what Pato did? That's more relative and is certainly something I'd go with.

Meh, whatever. It's his life he's going to mess up, I'm quite sure it will effect his football if his girlfriend is unhappy about this.

a 19 year old made an error in judgement, God will decide his concequences. We can all be quick to judge but what if you were tossed in the high-life at that young an age, would you be tempted by life's easiest sins?

I like what you did there (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

And as for Pato, who cares what he does off the pitch? I'm sure everyone on here has done something or other in the past which they are not proud of/ashamed of. As long as he's doing the business on the pitch that is all I'm worried about.

Well not entirely...but I get your drift.

I don't care if Pato scores 20 goals a season, only to act like Adriano. There are limits to which we can accept character quirks no matter how good the player.

But this...this was a stupid mistake made by a 19 year old. It's an error of judgement, not a flaw in character. Flaw in character would be the other 19 year old across town.

I don't think Pato is a bad person for what he did, everyones done things in the moment that they didn't consider the consiquences. I know that this is a fourm and everyone is intitled to there opinion but i think people should look at there own lives befor they scrutinize others. I enjoy talkin about players based on what they do on the pitch, but there personal lives shouldn't be any of our business. Only God can judge him. Hopefully he learned from his mistake and keeps his name outta the papers unless it for postivie things and keeps focused on football.

Yup..and I was meaning to say that there are 'certain' limits of decency in your personal life which if you cross fans have every right to complain about- Like Joey Barton. Like Steven Gerrard's punchup in the bar. Like Adriano's parties, and I'm sorry to say, Ronaldo's prostitutes. (Both Ronaldos!)

But FWIW, I don't think this is one of them. A 19 year old got snared by an experienced gold-digging so-and-so on the internet!! This is not the worst act of infidelity a fully mature man can do let alone a young, hormonally-raging teenager.

For Pete's sake Silvio Berlusconi has surely done worse...and he could be Pato's granddad!!!
