Alex Ferguson on God...

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

With age comes wisdom... and fear for what comes after death. Ferguson wants to be in good terms with God.

I posted this elsewhere..but this is a better article from football_italia:

QUOTE
Maldini names successor

Milan captain Paolo Maldini has named Thiago Silva as the man to succeed him once he retires at the end of this season.

The legendary 40-year-old is in his 25th season with the Rossoneri and has made 641 appearances for the club.

“Thiago Silva can do great things,” Maldini told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “But he needs an expert by his side.

“I have told Adriano Galliani, Thiago has to have Giuseppe Favalli close to him so that he can grow.

“Thiago Silva has everything it takes to succeed. He jumps like a cricket. He's quick and has personality.”

When asked if he could be the expert playing along side Thiago, Maldini replied: “Yes, I am well. The pain is under control and the performances I make on the pitch are good.

“A little time ago, I saw Dr Martens. He smiled at me and crossed his fingers. I am going through the final phase of my career in a very happy way.

“I am preparing to say goodbye without any regrets in 25 years of football. It will be another life I know it. I will have different rhythms. I will miss the smell of hard work.”

Maldini believes Milan have done well in his final season as a professional and thinks the Rossoneri need just a couple of retouches to become future champions.

“We have recorded 15 points more than last season. Milan have the best attack and the second best defence. It doesn't seem to me to be a team to throw away.

“With two or three signings of a high level Milan can compete with anyone in Italy and in Europe,” Maldini explained. “Our strength has always been a mix of youth and experience.

“You say that our defence is old when the old defenders concede goals, but you don't seem to remember that now we concede fewer goals and it's Favalli and I at the back.

“The truth is that the career of a player is getting longer. In the `70s and `80s clubs only gave one-year rolling contracts to 30-year-old players.

“Now, they don't and Milan has been at the forefront even in this field,” Maldini added, before revealing his last game will not be a testimonial for Italy.

Maldini retired from international football after the 2002 World Cup, but the Azzurri would reportedly like to honour him with one final cap.

“No, even if I want to once again thank the FIGC, who have shown themselves willing. I would prefer to leave football with an official game, and then again I don't like the games of goodbye.”

I would need to bold every statement actually. Every single thing is truth. And the last statement....takes CLASS to an immortal level. Anyone else can only aspire.

I know that fat Greek ladyboy punk, has made this a cliche...but Paolo Maldini is GOD!!!

Maldini Il Film Torrent Download Link (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif)

I've seen this movie before and I've been searching for it previously to download.
But the ones I had previosuly found, the links were either no longer working, or pieces were missing

(Fishdoll sorries but links to downloading copyrighted material is against the rules.)

But I won't yet know for sure if it is infact good quality or even the movie its supposed to be.
At this point I would say download this at your own risk (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
But I'd be more than happy to tell you how it is once my download completes.

I came across on a blog today, not too sure of its source though

Maldini, Del Piero & Cannavaro Involved In Charity Match

Alessandro Del Piero will be joined by Paolo Maldini and Fabio Cannavaro as well as a host of other famous celebrities in a special charity match later this month.

The Partita del Cuore is an annual charity game which raises funds to help those in need. This year it will be held at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin on Monday, May 18 and will see Del Piero's ALE 10 + team take on a Italian singers XI. Eros Ramazzotti will captain the singer's team which includes Gianni Morandi and famous Italian actor Raoul Bova.

The Juve man will be in charge of his side which will see legend Gianluca Vialli return to the pitch once again, as well as Maldini and Cannavaro, who has been reportedly linked with a return to Juventus

Proceeds raised from the event will go to the Association of Umbilical Cord Donors in Italy, as well as victims from the recent Italian earthquake. Del Piero and company will be hoping to raise in excess of €1 million from the match.

It's the first time Del Piero will be taking part in the event after he kindly accepted an invitation from the organisers.
