Arsenal 1-0, OG. Everton 0-0. It looks like 6th place now for us, after such a good season. Arsenal, at the moment, are above us. Everton are a few points behind us, but we have to play Spurs tomorrow with trips to Anfield and Old Trafford in the next 2 weeks. Oh well, I suppose with the way of the new Champions League qualifying format we'd get eliminated anyway, that's about the most positive thing I can think of. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) EDIT: Everton lead 1-0. I just want to cry. It's amazing how quickly a season can turn to ****.

After watching Manchester-Liverpool I'm totally convinced Vidic is needed here. He really could be our word class signing this summer. But wait, we shouldn't judge people after just one match.

QUOTE (Locke Lamora @ Mar 14 2009, 06:09 PM) Oh dear, Eboue scored two goals today... He's actually been playing well in the last few games I've seen! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Anyways, Locke, it looks like 4th place is as good as yours. Trips to Anfield and Old Trafford will be too much for us, particularly with Spurs, Everton and West Ham games all coming up in the next 5. I honestly don't care about qualifying for the Champions League as with the way the qualifying is structured at the moment, we'd get knocked out by a team like Villarreal anyways. The reason I want 4th is to keep Gareth Barry! The guy is irreplacable.. unless Gerrard or Lampard suddenly become Villa fans! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

But you had the same thing a few years ago with Spurs when they were running you close for 4th, so the experience from that will help you out. I also think you have a better chance of getting points at Anfield/Old Trafford, you know how to win at these places, while we haven't won at Anfield since 2001 and Old Trafford since.. well, before I was born. I think we threw it away with those 2 drpped points against Stoke! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) No shame in finishing 5th/6th I suppose. Something "big clubs" like Spurs, Newcastle and Citeh won't be doing. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It's good that Liverpool won because they'll lose the title anyway and I was getting bored and annoyed at they hype around United. Watched the Ars henal game... they played football for a change! I had my doubts but Arshavin has been a great transfer, he has been their best player in all the league matches he's played. With Walcott on the other flank, they actually looked like a team that's fighting for 4th place... Sweet move and finish by Arshavin for the second goal. QUOTE (Locke Lamora @ Mar 14 2009, 05:40 PM) Bloody hell whata free kick by Nasri! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) He was nowhere to be found for the rest of the game. What's happened to him? He started the season very well but he's been bad the past couple of months (or more). QUOTE (Tennie @ Mar 14 2009, 09:03 PM) Fishdoll wants to be sure: the two goals Eboue scored today were for Arsenal, right? Not two own goals? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Yes, for Arsenal.
