Everton beat West Brom 2-0 in the early kick-off. West Brom very unlucky to lose.

Chelsea lead 1-0 in the 3pm KOs, a great goal from Terry. Arsenal-Fulham and Boro-Liverpool are still 0-0. Watching the Arsenal game myself, they're trying to walk it in!

EDIT: There's been a goal in the Liverpool game. The awesome, awesome - and dst favourite - Xabi Alonso is the scorer.. for Boro. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Chelsea 1-1 Wigan!

EDIT: Frank Lampard wins Chelsea yet another 3 points, 2-1.

EDIT 2: 4 minutes added on at Arsenal, what the ****? There's been no goals, hardly any fouls, no bookings, few subs.. what a joke. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Todays scores:
Everton 2-0 West Brom
Cahill & Saha.

Boro 2-0 Liverpool
Alonso (OG) & Tuncay.

Chelsea 2-1 Wigan
Terry & Lamprd for Chelsea, Kapo for Wigan.

Arsenal 0-0 Fulham

I would't say so. You're 5 points behind, we have trips to Old Trafford and Anfield coming up!

I love him even more now! Thank you Alonso!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Anti-football tactics work well in the CL but you'll never win the league this way suckers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Sad thing is, they're now going to focus on the CL... which irritates me to no end. Forza everyone else!!!

I too watched the Arsenal match... they were so so poor. I have to say, Fulham were impressive, especially the way they passed the ball around but Arsenal were awful... were they 5 points ahead of Villa such a performance would not be weird but they are 5 points behind, surely they have to try more than that!

Four consecutive 0-0 draws. When the new boy is your best player in two consecutive games you know something's not going so very well...

Couldn't go to the game today and it seems I wouldn't have wanted to.

2-0 up with goals from Petrov and Carew with 3 minutes to go. What do we do against Stoke AGAIN? THrow the game away. Goals in the 88th and 91st minute get them a point.

City away, Spurs at home, United away, Liverpool away, Everton at home are our next games.. 4th place will be nothing short of a miracle now, the luck is just not with us this season, at all.

Carew vs Stoke (2nd one down)

World class finish from him within seconds of coming on, had this been scored by a United player, the love-fest would be never ending! He now has 9 goals in 16 starts this season, shame he missed so much due to a back injury, otherwise he'd be well on his way to 20 goals. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

WOW!!! Are you kidding me?? That's one great goal!!!

I know what you're talking about... also in the Villarreal-Panathinaikos game midweek the Pan. forward Mantzios made a splendid dribble... I can't find it anywhere but I can't even imagine what would happen if it was CR or Messi who did it.

One of the few positives from yesterday. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I dunno why great things down by 'average' players are over-looked all the time. Talking of Messi... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) @ Barcelona last night! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Kurt, why can't your Villa win all of a sudden? What's going on over there? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Just a case of a long season + injuries + tough fixture list catching up with us.

I believe we've played 44 games so far, starting as far back as early July. Laursen, Bouma, Carew and Reo-Coker have been out most the season, then all other first teams except Agbonlahor have missed some games. We had a 13 game unbeaten run followed by this recent bad run, though we played our reserves against Everton and Moscow (2nd leg) and we lost to Chelsea and drew with Moscow and Stoke.. so only the Stoke result is 'bad' really.

But of course, the majority of Villa fans think the World is now ending.
