You will bet your money on someone who is yet to play a single minute for the 1st team? you're very brave!

I had not seen Santon before but after tonight I'm convinced he has a [very] bright future...

He might even be the top scorer in Serie A history if he had ever learned some semblance of control. Just might be a case of what-could-have-been despite his career accomplishments.

Imagine if Pippo could actually play football at all.. he'd be unstoppable.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Well I won't bet all my money! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

It seems so, it remains to be seen. We still don't know what he can do in attack though he did make an excellent cross for Figo's goal last week but he has a long way to go.

As I said to you in half time, there's no quid pro quo in football. They had their share of blaming the ref last derby, now we can have ours...

I'll risk a double post to say: Best post of the afternoon by far.

Why, thank you! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) I was quiet and wouldn't have replied, had you not posted that Carlo interview. I think of him as a great tactician, but hey, it's not that hard to come out and admit your mistakes. Or take it up on himself, even if it wasn't his doing, it's his team after all. But hey, we wuz robbed, two penalties (I actually think it was one), the Scudetto is gone (even though we're five games into the second half of the season, not thinking what his players will think), and no, before anyone says otherwise, this is not my last derby. It's Paolo's. Thank you.

Great people admit their mistakes (be it Carlo, or the team), learn from them, and don't repeat them again! Ever.

Yeah, he made a very vital mistake. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) And so did the linesperson (man or woman). Unfortunately for some, and fortunately for others, we were on the receiving end of it. The majority of the people in the stadium, and most commentators thought otherwise. It was deja vu for them, I guess, of some sorts.

Besides, last I checked Milan was supposed to be bigger than a ref's mistake. We should have scored 3 goals, to their 2, and that match was in the bag. Football really is a simple game, after all.

True. Milan have accomplished so much that it's sad to see fans nowadays clawing for reasons why we didn't win. On R&B, for instance, in the midst of the usual immature profanity, some folks were hellbent on insisting that Adriano's handball was intentional (which, unfortunately, it was not). I won't go into another diatribe because acid covered everything already.

After today, we've now conceded 25 goals in 24 league games. Not a good number at all. At this time last year, we were at 17.
