QUOTE (Il Diavolo @ Dec 20 2008, 10:01 PM) Even Cesar saw the offside. Why would you need highlights? Well, I consider my eyesight to be decent, but I can't quite see as far as Italy to judge an offside decision. |

So, some results around the neighborhood for round 17. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleepysmiley03.gif)
1-3 Atalanta-Juventus 1-1 Cagliari-Reggina 3-2 Catania-Roma 0-1 Chievo-Genoa 1-0 Lazio-Palermo 0-0 Lecce-Bologna 5-1 Milan-Udinese 0-1 Sampdoria-Fiorentina 1-2 Siena-inter 1-0 Torino-Napoli My God, what happened to Roma, and good to see Napoli slip to fifth (sorry zd, can't help it). Damn, that 5-1 looks sweet. Also Fiorentina winning. And that dreaded inter sneaking in with two points. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif) Fiddlesticks. Overall, a half decent week for a guy like me, even in EPL with Arsenal drawing with Liverpool. Now I want Chelsea to win, and that'll round off a good round (pun always intended). |

I haven't seen him on the forums lately, and my suspicion tells me that he's following that Piero guy through Dubai. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) Keep your distance, Trini - we don't want to lose you! |

No no, ...no Del Piero stalking for me to round off this year, just been catching up with some friends from abroad so I haven't been active on the forums lately, just the quick check up here and there and then I'm off on my way. But have no fear I haven't abandoned MF. I'll hopefully be back on more regularly in the new year, if not sooner. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

Brief injury updates for other Serie A teams:
The Gobbi have everyone back in training but Zebina. Buffon and Trezeguet are set to play in a friendly tomorrow (I think it's with Monaco). Roma have a bunch of injuries: Totti is definitely out for a while and Baptista, Pizarro, Aquilani, Menez, and Taddei are all doubts with various knocks, etc. Pizarro is apparently the worst of the second group and may require surgery. |

Juve played Monaco today in an exhibition. Like the Milan game, it was 1-1 after 90 minutes and like the Milan game, it went to penalties. However, De Ceglie missed his and Monaco won.
Buffon played the first 45 mins. |

QUOTE (Zed.D @ Jan 7 2009, 01:51 AM) Good to hear they started the new year with a loss You can say that again! If we can win against inter (the 2nd derby of the season), then the difference will be reduced to six points, and things will get real tough, with Juve being even more direct competitors. But if we drop any more stupid points, even a couple, then I'll leave out all hopes. And ah, the old smilies are back (I know I said this before), but I love them. Also Mike probably changed the old wink emoticon into a better one. That one looked more like a wince. Hehe. I'm so happy, I want to put in and try out each one of them.
