Yeah, that was a real bad miss. Still, Lehmann getting sent off that early was so stupid, he was never going to get to that ball.

I think that was the deciding factor of the match. Being a man down at the very beginning of a CL final, and not any man but the keeper himself .. that just piles up the pressure of the whole team.

FT Villa 0-0 Fulham. We just can't seem to win the games that give us a real chance of pulling away, today would have been a huge win, but it wasn't too bad. That said, we were fantastic, we battered them but just couldn't break them down. The post the cross bar, bad misses and good saves. Another day it could have easily been 4-0. Credit to Fulham though, they defended supberly at times. Gotta hope Arsenal don't beat Chelsea tomorrow!

On an added note, congrats to Brad Friedel today, he broke the record for most consecutiver Premier League appearances at 167 which is just over 4 seasons straight. Marked it with a clean sheet too. Well done Brad. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

So the London derby and the Manchester derby on today.

Hopefully Man U draw and Chelsea win. I'm sorry Locke but Chelsea are the only team right now capable of putting up a fight against Man U and a win for them would be better imo. Since I don't want to see Man Yoo winning the title again this season (IMG:style_emoticons/default/puke.gif)

^^^ So far Man Yoo are really playing a lot better, Berbatov really close to scoring from a header.

True, but if they waste more chances ( did you count how many chances the had but squandered away !? ) they might regret it later on

Yep, Man City now really close, all Richards needed to do was tap it in, but he thought he was off side so he left it, but there was a Man U player on the goal line. So close

Man City now getting more into the game and pegging Man U back

Man !!! The only United player i ever liked was Cantona ... But Rooney has really impressed me, he is not your ordinary forward, he is truly something special.

Yep, what the hell happened in the box, the ball was being kicked at like it was 5 year olds playing in the school play ground

7 yellow cards in a game (including the red). (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) They sure do like it tough, those Manchester chaps.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) City keeper pushes up for a corner kick. Man U manage to get the ball and are on the counter, while the keeper is sprinting back to get to his goal, Rooney from nearly the half way line chips the ball towards goal. The keeper somehow manages to get there and literally pushes the ball off the line!!

FT Man U win as I'm typing this
