I'm not sure if anyone knew, but John Carew didn't play in Villa's UEFA Cup game Thursday because he was 'sick'. That story held until he was photographed in a lap-dancing place at 2am Thursday morning.
In Kurt's honor, I'm quoting here some of the chants that were heard today at the Villa game (with thanks to RB Forums' Kalac16): QUOTE It seems the Villa away fans caught the story about Carew at the Wigan game. Here are some of the more creative chants. Also, normally theres a chant that goes: John Carew, Carew, he's bigger than me or you, he's gonna score one or two, John Carew, Carew. To the tune of que sera.
