QUOTE (acid911 @ Sep 26 2008, 11:59 PM) That's not a player... Anyway, I think Ronaldinho would do well if he played, he has a lot to prove. Too bad he's not in shape yet. Wonder if he'll ever be...

QUOTE (dst @ Sep 27 2008, 02:01 AM) That's not a player... You, sir, are right on this count. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Anyway, if it was some other player (say Sanderos) he'd probably have received a big bundle of bullets in mail after the number of mistakes he makes in a season. QUOTE (dst @ Sep 27 2008, 02:01 AM) Anyway, I think Ronaldinho would do well if he played, he has a lot to prove. Too bad he's not in shape yet. Wonder if he'll ever be... You have a point. Now that I think of it, Ronaldo adjusted pretty well in his first few weeks here. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Fat and all. I still would give R80 benefit of a doubt, he's had a rough ride up till now. Having said that, I would have liked to see him get some time against Reggina.

QUOTE (PatitoFeo @ Sep 27 2008, 01:35 AM) it is tough to defend as a unit when the two centerbacks can be easily beaten by quick forwards. I think Maldini could be in for trouble against Ibra remember our last derby? in fact, paolo was the key reason why ibra couldnt perform.. but, that was months ago.. QUOTE (drizzt @ Sep 27 2008, 08:40 AM) remember our last derby? in fact, paolo was the key reason why ibra couldnt perform.. but, that was months ago.. I agree. The thing with Paolo's age is that even though he tries he can't give out 100% every time, more so when we take into things he's done over his career. And in his case, even 99% can be fatal, with people and media jumping on him. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) I'm not saying he's the same Maldini that was before - everybody knows this including him and his opponents. The thing is that slow and all, he's still better than almost all of our defenders with his technique and game reading skills. I just hope he has a great day in the office on Sunday. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) If he does, we're in for some fireworks!

But.. considering his age now, pace is a problem but not his physical attributes..

QUOTE (acid911 @ Sep 27 2008, 08:50 AM) If he does, we're in for some fireworks! Um, speaking of fireworks, I do hope we send some of them inter's way this Sunday. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) It was about time Mourinho put a stop to his 100 or so unbeaten league games streak, and no better team to do that then us. Having said that, we (or in this case Carlo Ancelotti) will have to be at his/our absolute tactical best. Think of it as a Champions League game, Carlo. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Do you homework well, 1-0, 2-1, whatever it takes to put a smile on the face of Milan fans! Just do it.

QUOTE (Il Capitano @ Sep 27 2008, 04:06 AM) If the defense is not working, attack so much that the opponents won't have many opportunities to score. Attack is the best form of defense. if we play with the Christmas tree, sit back and wait for accidents to put our names on the scoresheet, Inter will rip us apart at the back like they did in many recent derbies, except for the most recent one of course, where we needed a win, we attacked and we won! QUOTE (drizzt @ Sep 27 2008, 07:10 AM) remember our last derby? in fact, paolo was the key reason why ibra couldnt perform.. but, that was months ago.. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I mostly remember Nesta heroics... even if it was Maldini, there's already a lot of difference between the Maldini of now and the Maldini of months ago. it's no joke, he's 40... I hope he doesn't run out of breath tomorrow night as that's the only problem. QUOTE (acid911 @ Sep 27 2008, 08:41 AM) It was about time Mourinho put a stop to his 100 or so unbeaten league games streak, and no better team to do that then us. 1899% agreed!
