QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Sep 20 2008, 06:12 PM) In my opinion there is no real easy games in the EPL. Anybody can beat anybody on there day! And Newcastle is the exception to this rule... QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Sep 20 2008, 06:52 PM) Ahahahahahahahaha! Just learned it from you!!! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) QUOTE (Portikins @ Sep 20 2008, 07:02 PM) Chelsea will win the league by March if Man Utd (I mean Ronaldo) don't start performing. This has been said before but I don't think United's recent success can attributed solely to CR. I mean, he undoubtedly makes the difference but United are a squad with immense quality and they would not look and play so bad if they had actually learned how to play without him. Still, they have not learned to do that so if the rest of them cannot leave United some points behind until CR returns (when is that?) then they cannot expect to win the title.

Know it's not EPL related but it is English. Watford conceded a goal today in the Championship, the linesman thought was a goal but the ball went wide of the goal for a corner kick. I mean I've heard 'was the ball over the line?' etc but this is just ridiculous... Can't find a video of it but through a mate who was at the game he said it was pretty clear the ball was wide even the Reading players weren't celebrating... http://canadianpress.google.com/article/AL...yudq6Sh5x4K-OnwSurely it's time for technology to come into this game. If this happened to us how would we feel?!

I have no idea, apparently everyone was waiting to see it it was a Corner or Goal Kick then the lineo signaled for a goal?! I mean I've never heard of it happen not in a game of this standard anyway, the highlights will be out tomorrow so will properly be able to analyse what happened then!

In the NBA< NHL< NFL, etc. you have video replay to determine things. But not in football, and this is what makes it so special, even for terrible decisions. As for Arsenal resting player. The played in the Ukraine just a few days ago, players will be suffering from tiredness and jetlag, resting afew wasn't the worst idea, and it worked out well.

I just read that the ball was 3,5 metres outside the goal...this MUST have been on purpose.

There's awful decisions, then there's this. I mean what's next a goal when it goes out for a throw-in? Yes without video it does have it's 'was it a penalty? a goal? wasn't it?' etc but someone tell me how that was a goal?! If this happened to your beloved Villa I don't think you'd be saying this (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Happy 21st btw (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

I've seen it a few times now and it's becoming more ridiculous every time. Thanks mate. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) QUOTE (acid911 @ Sep 21 2008, 01:50 PM) Merci. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) QUOTE (Locke Lamora @ Sep 21 2008, 01:05 PM) HT West Brom 1-2 Aston Villa. Agbonlahor and Carew for Villa, some bloke called Morrison for WBA. 3 away wins in 5 days, great week for us. Birminghams to biggest clubs go head to head, and we come out winners. They haven't beaten us since 1985 now. Fantastic! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) United/Chelsea news: Gary Neville captains United, Drogba and Ronaldo both on the bench. Deco injured in warm up, will be replaced by Ballack.
