Normally I'm of the 'sunshine and lollipops' brigade. But there are no excuses for today. Milan were crap. They didn't play like a team, only a couple of people seemed to play like they actually CARED (Borriello, Abbiati, Pato). They were sluggish, the tactics were poor, it was a wholly deserved loss.

Things need to change.

Much as I adore Paolo Maldini, he needs to step down. Let Darmian have a go - it can't be any worse, can it? The midfield needs a shakeup. No more with the two DMs. Play the Uruguayan kids, bench Pirlo for once, do SOMETHING. The 3 Ballon d'Or players can't combine; so one or more of them should be benched.

This game was an embarrassment and there are no excuses.

Fio lost 2-1 to Napoli. Looks like we are going to be slugging it out with Fio again

Borriello was the best of a bad bunch

The players get a bonus when they play well and they should get a fine for their pathetic display today...
And Carlo... I took heart from our second half display against Bologna but if it takes him 70 minutes to realize we need a second forward upfront then he's over...

As for Ronaldinho.. well, maybe Serie A really is a retirement home after all...

carlo should resign b4 he is sacked

Yep atleast he'll go out with some dignity. Maldini should stop playing because he's too much of a legend to keep emberassing himself like this, both goals were his fault.

@ I_Ross, I personally think it mostly down to Carlo, yes the defence is still cr@p and it should have been adressed during this summer, but the players no longer seem to respect Carlo and have no motivation. Not to mention the fact that he's stubborn and won't change things around even when it's so obvious to everyone else

UEFA Cup is our only chance for trophies this year.. and we may get another chance for it next year too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

Kaka was really poor today, Carlo shouldn't have left him on - he was obviously not match fit yet. Pato should've come on at HT along with Borriello.

Pato should've come on at HT along with Borriello.

Look at the winners last year, Zenit! We would be shreaded by them at the moment so I wouldn't get ahead of yaself.

And Pato two good opportunities, 1 golden one, if it was the #76 with those we'd be ridiculing him for not scoring but it's Pato so we can't...
