QUOTE (Tennie @ Sep 8 2008, 05:01 PM) *
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) Not something I needed to read during lunch. Apparently Rino ALSO dislocated the fingers of his left hand when he fell. Ow. So...dislocated wrist, dislocated fingers, broken hand. Owie. The fact that he's as cheerful as he has been ('It could've been worse' was his quote) is pretty remarkable. That must've really hurt.

He has the qualities of a fighter... nothing will get him down about anything. I like his attitude...

Here's a video, courtesy of Mediaset. Not the best quality but it shows what happened.

Look at him, taking it like a man, that's our Rino. If that were C.Ronaldo I would bet 10 bucks that he would have cried his @ss off

Lippi's ball 'bounce' was the highlight though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

He'd look at his arm, and even though it's completely dislocated... he'd be like "oh no biggie... just get me to the hospital to get this fixed up". That's Rino for you... yeah if that happened to Cristiano he'd be crying... oh man... I couldn't imagine how that drama queen would be.

Man, Lippi was pissed...

Thanks for the highlights Tennie ... Damn, Ringo, I wouldn't have imagined it like that, he is lucky to get away with just a sprained wrist, it could have been much worse.

Well it's not just sprained, it's broken and dislocated in several places.

Got it, nevertheless, it could have been far worse, I mean, Imagine if his head hit the concrete first ? Or if his knees landed first (and considering his weight), I'd say the damage would have been far worse.

Looking at it that way, it does seem like he got out of it lucky.

Why is the dug out like that? It's unsafe. Gattuso was running backwards probably to get back into position or recieve the ball and he fell in, that could happen to anybody. Those dugouts should be level with the playing surface

I think the pitch was that of a training ground surface, and considering Milanello doesn't have those dug outs, I guess he grew a bit more confident in backing into things (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

But yeah, your right, those dugouts are very dangerous, but Gattuso he is just too reckless at the same time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
