I think people are vastly overrating him. Sorry I just won't admit anything about this guy and I refuse to rate him anymore than I have had. Quaresma, mark my words, will just turn out to be a flop (or at best an average player). In defensive heavy Italy, he's going to run into defenders that will seriously mess him up.

One player did agree with me... Andrea Dossena.
lolzzz that's not andrea dossena that's Giuseppe Dossena who played for Torino (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Quaresma compared to Tiago (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Shows how much you know about the guy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
Quaresma was taken to Barca and made the 1st Team at the same age that Ronaldo did (i.e. muuuch younger than Ronaldinho) He played well there but out of position and Rijkaard didn't have the patience with him that he ha with Ronaldinho.....Quaresma was far too arrogant himsellf anyway....but it was clear that he has World Class talent.......He was only a couple of months older than CR7 and CR7 said that Quaresma is his hero . Tiago has NEVERbeen in these circles......Quaresma's problem isn't talent or being able to break defenses wiiiide open...he just thinks that he's god and can do whatever he feels like....it's also hard to motivate him for the lesser matches....If Mourinho manages to tame the beast mark my words he'll be a monster...His free-kick technique and dribbling moves are also fantastic...but a bit overdone if he wants to keep his legs on his body in italy

I'm not going to even respond to this the way I want because I know what will happen.

You attacked Antonini calling him rubbish, so I did it to your favorite players. Honestly, Antonini isn't even my favorite player. I'm not going to get into a fight with you anymore. This thread is about Milan's worst transfer (which I honestly can't say any them), not Merda.

Quaresma is overrated "talent" if anything. If anything he will average at best in my eyes. A monster? LOL. No. The kid is gonna get beaten up in this league. He knows that very well. If he wanted to be fully effective and allowed tons of space, he should have moved to the La Liga (again) or Premier League.

Heck, I'm more scared of Julio Baptista, than I am of this guy.

Correction noted. I was thinking of Premier League at the time I wrote that post.

We don't have to fight just take it easy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Don't forget a winger of his exact prototype CR7 rapred Roma on numerous occasions (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Okay, go ahead and just say I'm wrong.

I think people are putting so much hype on this overrated player it's almost becoming obnoxious.

Yes it is goal.com (but it cites Gazzetta)...
nobody is overrating him...you just can't stand an opinion other than your own (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) exactly who rates him other than me?? Nobody much so pipe down (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Yes, but got trashed by Gennaro Gattuso. I wish for a full recovery to great form for Gattuso (and maybe Flamini can do the same), so he can slap the guy on the back of his head. We should play Gattuso for the big matches, and I hope he can be played for the derby. So he can deliver the same punishment he gave to Cristiano Ronaldo.

My point has been made.

By the way, I can more than stand other opinions. Stop being fallacious.

Actually, it was the departed Massimo Oddo who marked Cristiano Ronaldo out of not one but two games (second leg CL semi and then an Italy-Portugal friendly).

And a willingness to accept that one is not always right and that opinions differing from our own have vailidity is a very good thing indeed.

I'm not accepting it this time around. I was wrong thinking that was Andrea Dossena...

Gattuso did a few rough tackles of him in the CL.

However, I feel I'm right about Quaresma, and I think he'll get tore down in the Serie A. I'm not wrong.

Flamini has been getting torn a new one from CR7 for over two seasons in the prem. Yeah Gattuso AND Oddo did stop him in 2007 but guess what?? Both are no longer going to start for us....(especially Oddo (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ).... how about we put Gattuso to break that fruity little winger's legs come derby day ??

IMO, I think He will Not Be a Flop Nor a "Best Transfer"..
He may find his way against some small clubs, and sometimes the big clubs.
Just I dont think he will do to Inter what Ibra has done for them.

Sorry, my memories of the games are different.

'I'm not wrong' isn't the very best way of accepting that others have different opinions. You may be right or I may be right. Time will tell. I believe, however, that having seen more of Quaresma than just the recent Euros, I may be in a slightly better position to judge how well he's likely to do.

Flamini has been very solid in the Premier League. Come on, admit you're wrong. Gattuso I assure you will probably start in major games.

Okay maybe he won't flop, but he'll be average. And not only that Inter was ripped off... big time.

Players like Nani have managed to survive in the EPL without too many bad injuries, so I'm sure Quaresma won't have that much trouble in the Serie A. Pato is hardly a giant guy is he? he copes just fine, and he plays in a position where you're against the CBs, instead of against full backs - who generally speaking aren't so big.

Quaresma has the potential to be a pretty decent player but he is not going to be the next Ronaldo, he should have moved on from Porto a while ago.

Can see him being more like a Nani well a bit better because he's pretty shambolic!

Flamini has been awesome ...all I said was that CR7 makes a mockery of him...Oddo and Gattuso did better jobs of closing him down

Quaresma Is Bigger than Ronaldo, Kaka_is_Brilliant.
It's Unfair to compare both, since ROnaldo had better chances than Quaresma had.
Anyways nani is a great talent for the Future....
