We need forwards but good ones!! Getting crap like $h!tchel$ki doesn't count. PAto is the only potentially WC forward we have atm.....and he's largely unproven. Lacking a player in a position and getting a crap player to me is the same thing (IMG:

Inzaghi is a legend and I'd never thought in a million years I'd grow to love an ex- juventino so much but NOW his body is simply not capable of withstanding top class football for extended periods.
Borriello has only ONE season of more than 12 goals we can't accurately predict how he's going to play.
So essentially we only have ONE forward that we could EXPECT a reasonably consistent stream of goals from
Respectfully disagreed. We can't have 4 world class forwards, or that'll cause problems. We needed back-up for now. We were not going to acquire Ronaldinho and a top class forward (lets just say Eto'o for examples sake). Pato may be the only potential world class forward, but we have attacking midfielders who can more than make up the difference and ones that ARE WORLD CLASS.
Sheva isn't crap. He's just... meh... a back-up.
I'll give Borriello a chance. He's more depth when we need it.
No. We have four forwards, and three we can expect something out of.
But with Milan, our goals don't mostly come from our forwards, but our midfielders (Kaka scored 15 last season). And I'm sure Ronaldinho (who can play as second striker) will score just as many.
Another example to prove my point: Who scores the most goals in Manchester United? Ronaldo. Tevez is a far second at 14 goals last season (just counting league games). Ronaldo had 31. Is Ronaldo a forward?
