QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Aug 30 2008, 09:39 PM) @Han: It was meant to be 100% certain.. but then Real decided they didn't want him to leave. He's not been selected in the Madrid squad for their season opener though, which would mean he's on his way to England I would have thought. Interesting. Personally I want him to go over to Chelsea for the simple reason that I want to see what he could do in a league that is far more physical to the La Liga, Personally I don't think he'll survive a month, I don't think he would even make it in Serie A. Personally I think Real should take that ridiculous sum Chelsea is offering and run as fast as they can before Chelsea change their mind

QUOTE (KillerMax @ Aug 31 2008, 04:31 PM) What did he do? Nothing. I'm laughing at the fact that Spurs continue to play him. QUOTE (Mook @ Aug 31 2008, 06:25 PM) Aston Villa 0-0 Liverpool FT
Happy with the result kurt? Not really. We were by far the better side and should have won it comfortably. I still fail to see what it is people see in Mascherano, is it because he's been hyped up to no end as a great DM? Alonso is a very poor player, he's still living in his 2005 reputation. Liverpool will get nowhere with playing these 2, they need Gerrard back ASAP. Martin Laursen continues to improve, he kept Torres in his back pocket until he had to go off, then once he went off they had no attacking thread. As shown by their 0 shots on target all game. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Suppose it's a decent result to not lose to one of the big 4, but on the day were we the better side and should have won it.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Aug 31 2008, 02:30 PM) FT Chelsea 1-1 Spurs -Belletti opened the scoring. -Darren Bent equalised just before half time. -Malouda isn't fit to clean Joe Coles boots, awful player. -Spurs looked dead at the end of the game, they gave their all against a very poor Chelsea side and were lucky to get a point. -Giovani Dos Santos.. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Aside from that frist game Chelsea haven't really been that good.... They need a good striker up there, Anelka is clearly not that. And some Chelsea fans actually call Dos Santos the second coming of Maradona (IMG: style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Aug 31 2008, 06:18 PM) Nothing. Liverpool have been struggling to score goals in all their games so far, even in the CL qualifiers. So so far in England if Man U win their next game the top 4 will all be level right?

Well, Man City have new owners, a group called Abu Dhabi United. Which now makes them the richest cub in the World. The group as a whole have a much money as Bill Gates or something! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Worlds richest football teams: 1: Man City 2: QPR 3: Chelsea Who would have thought that 12 months ago. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) EDIT: Real Madrid have reportedly offered £38m for Dimitar Berbatov. But amazingly, as well as Man City making an offer for Berbatov, they've also made offers for David Villa and Mario Gomes.. these guys are serious. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
