I still don't know of any top class CBs who are up for sale. I think we'll just have to sit out with some B-class CBs till someone really hits the market. I mean we might be able to get Cannavaro, but next season, he could play with us one more year at the most. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Really, there don't seem to be any top CBs who are/might be available. And Pana..not a whimper from you about Toure!! Shush!!

Not sure, prospects is what we need. Ideally both our CBs must be top quality and complement each other. Like Nesta-Maldini was. A young player doesn't necessarily have to be a prospect. I don't consider Torres a prospect, though he's still young. So yeah..I wanted a young top quality CB. Right now, I only know Chiellini. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) And to think that idiot Secco wanted to sell him, till injuries forced him to think otherwise.

Well prospects are a good investment for the future... and they can create world class players. I understand what you're saying though. I wanted Chiellini too... don't worry... I hope Secco sticks around. We'll end up with Chiellini eventually... Secco has literally messed up everything lol.

Well we just saw Kompany move to Man City, I think he's really good and would complement Nesta well, and if Man City could get him, then surely it would have been easier for us. Fact is, we weren't really interested in defenders until the situation became critical with Nesta and then Kaladze and Maldini. And we really didn't want to spend a lor of money on a defender, so we looked for quick fix solutions like Ivanovic and Senderos.
Senderos is still young and I'm hoping he will learn some things from Nesta and Maldini while here and manages to perform well so we can keep him next season and that would be a position covered for the next 7 years. I think he's got good characteristics to become a really good defender but he makes stupid mistakes that he shouldn't do. I won't judge until I see what he can do in Serie A. He still has a lot of room for improvement yes, but unlike Kaladze he's still really young and has the time. And also the motivation of getting a permanent deal will also help him to not het complaicent. Galliani did the right thing by not buying him outright, and not just because in case he's terrible we can send him packing easily

The Oddo-to-Lyon one seems more probable than Borriello to Spurs. There are continuing reports of Genoa wanting Paloschi (as well as a couple of sides in Serie B.)

Not sure where CMF got it, but it's on Lega Calcio's site ( link). Click on the Milan link and you'll get a popup. Temporaneo = loan.

QUOTE (CrazyMilanFan @ Aug 26 2008, 12:39 PM) brocchi to lazio according to lazio president meeting with gallaini soon http://www.calciomercato.com/index.php?c=24&a=93088Come on Baldy, make it happpen, and ask for Standardo. As for Sheva, surely it's with option to buy or something like Crespo's 2 year deal at Inter until he becomes a free, Sheva said his goodbye's to everone at Chelsea and non of their fans expect him to be back anytime soon. I think it's more of the first option, surely Chelsea are not that stupid...
