Hee hee. Good one, MizNelson! The fish doll offers your choice of a cookie or a plate of garlic fries. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I'll take the garlic fries. It's been awhile since I've had fish and chips. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I just view it as another warm up.. no big deal.

I heard Flamini was pretty good... and Zambrotta did pretty well (finally he's settling in better and at the right time too). Kaladze... well... that still makes the case we need another defender.

I'm more in tune with Kovac. He's a tall blond guy... kinda like Mexes.

I think Pato went through the same thing last season and missed a few sitters himself. They're young.

Not exactly the same. he missed considerably fewer chances. his last big miss that cost us victory, as far as I recall, was the one against Atalanta (the one that was behind closed doors), his only third game with us...

Well it wasn't the attack that worried me, because we only had Paloschi up there and still managed to create a couple of really great chances.

It's the defence that's worrying, if it had been a 0-0 I wouldn't be worried as much but the fact that we can't manage to keep a clean sheet against Gijon is what worries me. I'm still hoing out for another CB, hopefully Galliani will make this a perfect mercat by getting a quality CB, or if not quality at least a solid one that is better then Kaladze (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Flamini so far has been our best and most consistant performer.

Zambrotta, took his time to get back into the rythem of the Italian game and to adjust to Milan's game but he cruised this game. Looked really sharp both in attack and defence and was linking up really well with the midfield

Yeah Paloschi is probably tired after this busy summer season for him... I think we should get one more defender and we will be fine. This transfer season has been full of great surprises, and I think that will be the final act to a solid transfer season.

I'm very happy about Zambrotta though... he's always been one of my favorite players... and Flamini will be up there as one of the best transfers for Milan this season.

Carlo Ancelotti after Sporting Gijon-Milan 2-0: "For an hour the match went well, but then the team decreased and Sporting did more. Certainly the result is not good, but it was an intense 90 minutes and playing a match like this is always useful. It was a real match and it helps us to get in the mood of real matches. The return of Kaladze and Maldini went well, while Emerson is still perhaps a bit behind. I am happy to welcome back Andriy, who strongly wanted Milan. I think he will be useful to us like he was in years past. From Tuesday also Dinho and Pato will be back, so we will have the chance to work well throughout the week."

Pfft, that's hogwash. He wanted out of Chelsea more than he wanted to come back here.

So we lost to a 2nd division team now? Good. After losing 5-0 with a top team 10 days ago... it's not a bad result.

It's a first division team now if I'm correct.

And we beat a top team 4-1 just a few days ago.
