I still think that we need a top class striker ... BUT ... even if we sign 10 strikers .... I STILL WANT TO SEE R99 ON THE PITCH WITH THE ROSSONERO COLORS!!!!!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) My mind tells me it won't happen. Heart tells a different story, though. Oh why did you get injured, Ronaldo? Champion or not, it will be very hard on him to pick up and wanting to play top flight football after all the constant injuries he's had to suffer. I know I'd probably quit at this time, if I were him.

It'll be the stuff of wildest dreams if he comes back to international football. With or without Milan. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I'd happily die to see that day.

QUOTE (dst @ Aug 21 2008, 01:55 AM) *
I'm not judging him for leaving. I'm in no position to do that. And I can't say that I would be more loyal than he has been.
I believe that he did the right thing to leave if that's what he wanted to do. Same for everyone, they can go if they want to... (unless it is their club's rival they go to which is in my opinion inexcusable)

I'm not saying I want Sheva to go to Inter, all I'm saying is that I would not care. And that's cause I don't have any respect for him and the reason for that being him not being straight to the club... only a couple of months before he left he had said "I want to end my career here with Milan just like Maldini". Well that's something I cannot forget or forgive. Putting Maldini in his mouth and playing with us while he has doubts regarding his future... a true man does not do that!

Of course, I'll always be grateful for everything that he's offered to Milan. If he comes back I will be hurt. I think Milan's pride will be hurt too. Him... well I already have lost my respect for him but this move will make him in my eyes just a piece of garbage... he's in Milan's history and it should stay that way...

I can understand, buddy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I feel the same as you.

That's the spirit!

I think most of us will have to swallow our feelings and look at Sheva as if he's a machine or something. no prodigal son, not golden boy, no nothing. if he scored +15 goals I'd be more than happy! not for him, of course. for Milan. he is a memory, an old but good one. but now I only care about Milan's new #7 ( (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) ).

76 it will be 76 according to gazzeta article

Luckily or unluckily, if this is true, then it would mean a couple of things: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

- Kenny will have to change her signature as seeing Ronaldo in Milan again would just be a very wild dream.
- Paloschi may move to some lower position club, or worse Serie B.
- We won't get ourselves a CB defender, which I believe is absolutely needed.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) I hate the large numbers. First Dinho got the #80 then Flamini went for the #84 and now IF Sheva comes he'll het another large number??

He should get #11, Ronaldinho should have gotten the #20 and Flamini also should have gone for a lower number

I'm sure he will be good he can't be any worse than the flop (surprise, surprise) Ronaldo who came here, he's a utter legend.

To the people who think he screwed us over he left for £30 mil at 30 that's not screwing a club over in my mind.

We need him, I can't see Pato scoring that much this year at all.

I have no great wish to continue the Shevchenko debate much but I would like to stress that my problem isn't so much that he left (and I think it was for family reasons and not money), but the way he did it.

If he comes back, he does. I don't think he's what the team needs, personally, but I'm not going to burn him in effigy or anything like that.

May have missed something that the papers fabricated but I'm pretty sure Chelsea offered, Milan accepted, Sheva signed the contract...

Kissed the Chelsea badge yes but came out and immediately apologised to the Milan fans how many players do that nowadays?

Nah, i'm talking about his declarations to the press that he was happy at Milan, had no intention of leaving, wanted to be captain one day....and signing for Chelsea the next week.

Yeah I'll give you that.

I don't know how many of these supposed quotes come from the players though. Bar the supposed 'I have no intention of leaving' I'm still not unhappy though. I mean look at Ronaldo supposedly saying how he wants to go to Madrid and leave United, same with Berbatov but to United.

Had Sheva said I really want to go to Chelsea, have no desire to stay here that would have offended people much more I'm sure.

Flop? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Paolo seems to disagree. There are a lot of things that go between players that we fans don't know. Ronaldo brought us security last season in the league, which eased our progress in the CL. Not my words, our captain's. I'm sure if he was allowed to play in Europe, he's have made our journey to Athens much easier. He was (is) that damn good.

Oh, if it were not for his constant injuries! I'm sure you understand guys like Seedorf, Nesta, Kaka, Pirlo would have the same impact as R99 if they got injured like him all the time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Flop, then? Because he has more potential than all of them. Everyone knows that. Maybe you are right, he was a flop - but he never chose this path. Not intentially. Not from the interviews I read from him while he wore the red and black. Technically, even a guy like Gila isn't a flop. Oliveria bordered flopdom in his time here. Or Dhorasoo.

Just my humble and honest $0.02. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

No way would I say he has more potential than the last 3! Maybe everyone thinks that bar me I don't know but Kaka or Ronaldo in there peak I know exactly who I'd pick.

Of course you would. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Your username isn't 'Ronaldo Is Brilliant'. And I respect your opinion. Having said that the Brazilian Ronaldo is the only person alive who'd give guys like Pele and Maradonna a run for their salt. I don't know any footballer who were termed scary, but Ronaldo was scary good in his peak. Check out the latest interview by Paolo about Ronaldo's time in inter. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Every time Ronaldo came to attack their was panic in the Milan defense. Good thing they had Paolo in to reign him in.

Even the guy in your avatar seems to think he's the best of all time. They used to call Sheva the White Ronaldo - that's got to mean something. Had Ronaldo not got injured, I'm a 100% people would have termed him the best. The funny thing is that even people in my country who know nothing about football, know about this guy, Ronaldo. They only see football in time of the World Cup. For them Ronaldo is football. Has been since 98.

But then again who am I to make the call? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) You may be right. For all that's worth Kaka hasn't even reached his potential yet. So the two can't be compared.
