^^ I could be wrong about the wages part, Jack. The non-EU spot section, however, I'm pretty sure I got right.

Shevchenko back? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif)

This could work. But we all will have to forget about the past. He should start from level zero..

For what it's worth, I just checked and there's nothing on acmilan.com about Shevchenko. Yet.

EDIT: tuttomercatoweb is reporting that Toro are looking at possibly loaning either Paloschi or Borriello. The story's hypothesis is that because of the presumed return of Shevchenko, both players could possibly go.

Sheva?? back??? Why Andriy...why?? Don't you have a spine on you!! You tell that no good Brazillian wannabe coach, just what the erstwhile crown prince of Milan can do....(IMG:style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif)

*End of over reaction*

Pato-Sheva-R80-Kaka-Seedorf-Pirlo: Something very scary about that lineup...but it's just not right.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I feel just like you do Jack, on one hand I don't want him to come because it is a big possibility that his glorious past with Milan will become more tarnished then it already is (with him leaving like he did and all)

But on the onther hand I do think that he would be able to still make it at Milan. I watched Chelsea games when he played last season and even this pre-season, Sheva gets in these amazing positions in acres of space, but no one passes the ball to him, he's screaming his head off to get a pass when he's in a great spot but the ball never comes. I just think that Sheva and Chelsea are all wrong for eachother and he seems like an outcast on that team, both in the dressing room and on the pitch. At first I wanted him to fail but now I just feel sorry for him. I just think that Sheva back at Milan wouldn't be as huge a mistake as some people think it would be, and yes he has lost his pace but he's a smart player, he can re-adapt his game, and in Serie A a player doesn't necissarily have to rely on pace if he has the tactical know how.

btw the Pato-Sheva-Kaka-Seedorf-Pirlo-Ronaldinho group is amazing but imagine having all those players with Sheva and Dinho of just 2 years ago :sigh:

Why in the world would we want Favalli to be sold? He's done great every time he's been called up. I don't see the point of making a big fuss about someone who is essentially a third choice utility player. He's an excellent player for the position he occupies in the team. A former captain, and if what the players say are true, an excellent influence in the team. Besides I read someone say, he's as smart as Einstein...let's keep the Milan players coaching tradition alive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Brocchi..fine...we're being very nice to him, but there's no denying that he's not one of our irreplaceables. Emerson, has never really got the chance to play. We can't unload him, just yet. Esp coz when he played he did decently well.

Favalli, yes has been a good utility player for us over these past 2 years, but still he's what 35? We need to replace him, even if it is with a primavera LB that has potential. I think Tennie mentioned one, forgot his name atm, who's a real talent.

Brocchi should have never been brought back to begin with, I don't know who's bright idea that was (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Maybe we should exchange him with Standardo. It would kill two birds with one stone, getting rid of Brocchi and getting a defender that does not take up an EU spot and also has a lot of physical presance, something we haven't had in our defence since Stam left

That's dumb, if Sheva comes no one will go... what's the reason to get him then? Honestly... who the **** thought of this... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Loaning Boriello would be dumb, he is our only box striker aside from Pippo who will be injured for 3/4 of the entire season.

But loaning Paloschi would probably be a good idea, obviously to a Serie A team if not we should not bother loaning him. But if Sheva does come then that would greatly reduce his chances of even getting a look in. Staying on the bench for practically the entire season won't do him any good

Sheva loaned in; Paloschi loaned out. Makes sense. Sheva is much more adept at leading a front line than any of the options we've got on our hands, bar Pippo. But then Pippo doesn't 'lead' so much as 'he is the frontline'. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

However if Sheva comes in, I will at least squish a fish doll in sheer rage, if he is even suggested to wear the captain's band. This should be taken as his first season. Like han said, 'Ground 0' again. And there better not be a party. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif) He's a prodigal son, and ought to be treated as such. Let the father (Berlusconi) welcome him.

The fish doll would go ballistic if he ever wore the armband, Jack. It would not be pretty.
