another rumour
Milan Agree To Sell Kaka For €102m
According to the Daily Star, Milan have decided to sell Kaka to Chelsea providing they receive a world record bid of €102m.

Chelsea have been consistently linked with a move for the European and World Footballer of the Year over the last few years, and this summer have been consistently linked with a mega-money bid for the star.

In July it was reported that Chelsea had made a €100m offer for Kaka. The next day Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani confirmed that the club had rejected a “conspicuous” offer from Chelsea but wouldn’t reveal a figure, before adding that Kaka was not for sale at any price.

Chelsea's chief executive Peter Kenyon then refuted talk of a bid for Kaka, but this didn’t stop the press reporting that the Londoners were set to make a huge €150m bid for the midfielder.

Eventually the speculation died down, but last week there were fresh reports in the English and Italian press that Milan may consider selling Kaka to Chelsea next summer for a world record fee.

The Daily Star is today reporting that this is indeed true, and that the Rossoneri will release their star man if Chelsea table a bid of £80m, or €102m.

Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari is said to prefer the signing of Real Madrid star Robinho, but if this is not possible he certainly won’t turn down the chance of working with Kaka, who he coached for Brazil during their victorious 2002 World Cup campaign in Korea and Japan.

I posted this in the Kaka thread. It's a pure rumor. We're not going to release Kaka. Chelsea has enough attacking players. By the way, the Daily Star is a bit questionable as a source.

Was wathing Chelsea TV yesterday and one of the guys who takes care of their transfers seemed pretty sure that Robinho could arrive by the end of the week. Nothing has been mentioned regarding Kaka and it would be stupid to believe in a British tabloid, especially the Daily Star or The Sun, both are complete cr@p

If Robinho does, there is no way Kaka would go. That would just be too many conflicting players...

Ofcourse, not only that, but I just don't believe that Milan would ever sell Kaka unless something like with Sheva happens where the player wants to go. Other then that, Milan won't sell the player for any ammount of money offered. I remember Real also offered a ridiculous ammount for Sheva but Milan rejected it at the time since Sheva wanted to stay

The Daily Star wrote that so there is no credibility whatsoever there.

I know it may not make me popular but I'd prefer not to see him back.

This morning's rumors:

1. Tuttomercatoweb is reporting that because of the problems related to Ivanovic, Milan has decided to go after Thiago Silva. The only problem with this is that it'd be hard to get him in before the winter window so Milan may end up going after an expedient in the meantime.

2. In news that will surely break Habitant's heart, Gazzetta is reporting that Lazio are offering Stendardo to Milan for Brocchi. It would seem that there's some truth in the rumor that surfaced yesterday. Corriere gets things right every now and then.

I too am divided when it comes to having him back. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) At one point, it'd be really something seeing him in red and black again. On the other hand, I'd have to live the day our Sheva came back with his tail between his legs. To be honest, I'm torn for choices here.

It will cause the San Siro crowd to erupt !

When he left, I didn't believe he would do it, then that kiss on the badge was the perfect medicine for me to lift my finger at him ... But It has been a while since Milan had been playing with a striker of his qualities. He has scored the most amazing of goals and was always on target in the hardest of moments .. He probably wont be as good as he was, but you can't deny how much the club and fans will embrace him. The second highest scorer of all time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

If this is true and the whispers from gazzetta are to be trusted, then I think you guys are gonna see a whole lot of misha (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

The fans who go to the San Siro circulated a petition indicating that they were absolutely not in favor of his return, R7.

I'd say it's a very divided sort of matter. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Those fans were season ticket holders. We'll never know what fate awaits Sheva unless he makes a return. If he makes a return.
