QUOTE (drucurl @ Aug 16 2008, 07:18 PM) Is there a chance he'll ever play fo rus again? He is my alltime favourite player and to me the greatest ever....when he signed for my favourite club it was like a dream come true for me....when he got injured it was a total nightmare.....the CL is the ONE trophy that has eluded him throughout his illustrious career.....I hope it's even possible for him to wear red and black again..P.S. I know he has his faults (like poor diet, too much partying and can be a bit lazy)- I'm a fan not a fanboy I'd give most everything I own to see him play again in the red and black. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Most everything. Some members believe he's done. There is still a 1% chance, and as much as I like to live on that 1%, it's getting more difficult by the minute. Members like you, me, arivanjj, gal kenny and to an extent R7 would love the day when Ronaldo comes back. But I guess it depends a lot on Ronaldo and whether he wants to get back to the top. If God forbid, he doesn't, then that's that. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) But being the champion he is, I'm sure there are a couple of more years left in him. Particularly now that he's recovering fast. A CL win maybe? Please, oh please.

Would be nice to get him back. But the thing is, he'll sign up, and then we'll spend eternity bringing him back to fitness et al, it would be next season before he started contributing. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) So then, this complicates stuff needlessly. I would still keep him. It's always a nice record, 10 years down the line to say the great Ronaldo played for you before he retired. Also it helps to have a striker like him, who's not too fit to play every match, but who if rested can be quite a potent weapon. Like Solskjaer for Man United. I don't think Ronaldo has disappeared as a player of quality as Rivaldo did. He's just fragile.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Sep 16 2008, 12:10 PM) Sky Sports say he is "Seriously considering an offer from Man City at the moment and thinks it would be interesting linking up with Robinho as he believes they can score 50 goals". No Ronnie, Robinho doesn't have the ability to score 40 goals this season. A 100% Roanaldo that never gets injured can score 40 goals in a season. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Robinho can take care of the remaining 10. Having said that, I'd love to see him in Milan once again - not gonna happen, I know - but that never stopped a man from dreaming, has it? He dragged us from double figure rankings to a comfortable 4th last season. More so, when every player in the team was concentrating on the Athens final. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) It's the injrues are the cause of concern, however. It's not like he's old or something, the same age as Sheva and Totti. Please Galliani bring him back.
