QUOTE (acid911 @ Aug 17 2008, 10:49 PM) Only a notch. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) On his worst days Wegner can be quite sour, you of all people should know this Locke. I still recall his comments about Milan. Admittedly he was bitter and sour over the transfer of Flamini, but still, he should have done better than that. Off course, and I agree he shouldn't have said what he said about Milan, but I should also know that has said loads of positive things about Milan as well, but since the media doesn't like anything complimentary coming from Wenger they won't write about it.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Aug 17 2008, 10:17 PM) If you cane name me one point in history where Birmingham City could be considered "good" then I'll say you're right! Ha, did forget about rivalries really! I mean it's not like anyone from another country would have heard of Birmingham so they couldn't be hated globally!

I mean it's not like anyone from another country would have heard of Birmingham so they couldn't be hated globally! I'm not sure many people outside of the Midlands even know who they are! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) EDIT: A quick note on Valerie Bojinov: He only managed 5 games last season, scoring 2 goals, before he had some cruciate ligament injury keeping him out for the rest of the season. He recovered and had a decent pre-season, only to pick up an injury in the warm-up to yesterdays game. It is believed he will be out for 6 months. That's a real shame for him. They've won the Championship a couple of times so I guess they were good... for that level... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) How does it feel walking around town and seeing their faces? QUOTE Ashley Young is ready to commit himself to a new Villa deal and this evening reflected: "This is a fantastic club. I am delighted I'm playing here."John Carew and Gabby Agbonlahor penned new deals last week and Martin O'Neill is now keen to reward Young with a new contract. Young has welcomed that news and reflected: "What about my own contract situation? I am just happy playing my football. But, if anything like that comes about, I'll be delighted. "I've got this season and two more years left. I'm happy, really happy with how things are going, happy here at Aston Villa. "I am just looking to build on the performances of last season during this season and I'm glad we got off to a good start at the weekend against Manchester City. "Would I like to commit to a new contract? Of course. It is a fantastic club. I am delighted I'm playing here." AVFC Best winger in the league besides Ronaldo? Easily. Best crosser of the ball in the league? By a distance. Give him his contract, MON! Then when other clubs come sniffing around for him. £30m, no less.

Then when other clubs come sniffing around for him. £30m, no less. Quality player, didn't think he was that good at Watford and did think why are you spending that amount of money but fairplay he's quality now. Why he's not in the England team bemuses me.
