By the end there will be no good comedians left in this world.

First George Carlin... now Bernie Mac... this year is just terrible..

Anyways, lets get back to the topic. We can discuss this in the off-topic forum (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

The guy who wrote "One Day in the life..."? I read that book a while back for a class... I thought it was quite written even though it was only written on one day of his life in a gulag...

Damn.

You should read "The Gulag Archipelago", it's his masterpiece work and a nice reader for a history-buff.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Thanks for the heads up. Been looking to buy some books for sometime. Didn't know of any good ones. I've been going back to Forsyth now for a couple of weeks. Re-reading all his greatest. Put down Day of the Jackal yesterday after maybe the 18098921299896th time reading it.

You should then read Solzhenitsyn. And have you tried read something from Aldous Huxley or Heinrich Böll? I like both very much and well, maybe you would too..

Anyway, goal.com reports we are signing Ivanović today.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Gazzetta is reporting (as Filippo kindly relayed) that Milan could close the deal for Ivanovic today. Galliani is flying to London to finalize details, most likely a loan-with-option to purchase. Even though Milan had declared the transfer market closed, they were obliged to reinforce the defense as a result of Nesta's injury. Ivanovic was also in Juve's sights for some months.

Just ask Mr. Google. This is what he translated that into:

QUOTE
Official: Milan, today yes Ivanovic

Today, the Milan can close with the Chelsea defender for Ivanovic. Adriano Galliani will fly to London soon to define the terms of the agreement, likely to arrive on loan consideration. Despite Via Turati had declared the rossoneri market closed, a reinforcement is required for the rearguard after considering the conditions of Alessandro Nesta. Ivanovic was also targeted by Juventus for several months.

Not so much out of the blue, really. Monaco's been whispered as a destination for the past couple of days. Simic's departure is official, btw. There's a note up on acmilan.com.
