QUOTE (MizNelson @ Aug 1 2008, 10:11 PM) I think it's BS. No, not because I don't want him here, but because no other news source has reported it (either English or Italian), and Tuttomercato is hardly a reliable source. admit it, you just don't want to see dida replaced! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) hey, given the situation with the uruguayans i could believe that we secretly signed Felipe too, entirely possible (hey galliani - get thiago neves and thiago/alex silva while your at it!). Galliani amazes me. For all i know matthias marcaddio will turn out to be a miguel veloso clone..i gotta say if this is true we are one young center back signing away from a perfect transfer window. What's next? a new striker!?

I tend to put a little more weight in Tuttomercatoweb than MizNelson does. One needs to watch the sort of thing they report - some of it IS bad - but this one I think may be accurate. I'd have preferred a young Italian (Fiorillo?) but eh. We'll see in coming days. They were right about the Uruguayans.
Now...we need a CB and a striker, please!

I hate putting percentages on things like the Italians are so fond of doing. I'm inclined to keep an open mind right now and see what's said in the next few days. The initial report indicates that Felipe will stay in Brazil this season on loan anyway. So we'll see.

I've heard him being linked with us for close to six months. No fire without smoke, or, um, vice versa! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Apparently he's very young, and very good, so I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he comes. Next year.

Then again, given today's embarrassment, maybe Felipe will come over early.

Yep, they did change the rule to allow 2 non-EU players.

Galliani can you hear me : at least you can bring Ronaldo
Ronaldo's Agent Cools Japanese Link The agent of Brazilian striker Ronaldo has moved to deny that his client has been approached by Japanese giants Kashima Antlers.
The 31-year-old has been released by AC Milan, following an another debilitating injury. The Italian club are not satisfied that Ronaldo will regain full fitness after damaging his knee ligaments in February against Livorno.
Subsequently, rumours have emerged linking the unattached Brazil legend with a possible move to an as-yet un-named Premier League outift, as well as the J-League side.
However, the player’s representative, Fabiano Farah, has quelled speculation that Ronaldo is heading east, and insisted that the ex-Real Madrid star is only focussed on regaining his fitness.
Farah told globoesporte.com: "There is nothing to tell about Kashima Antlers. Nobody asked me about Ronaldo. Nobody from the board called me or even intermediaries. His priority now is to recover (from his knee operation, undertaken in February).
"He has been doing three sessions a day for the last three weeks. Besides, in the last couple of days he is playing tennis. The other day he played a two-and-a-half-hour match and didn't feel anything. That proves he is all right.
"Ronaldo has to make a final exam in Paris in mid-August to know exactly the date of his return to the pitch."
