Milan are supposedly (according to tuttomercatoweb) talking to Chelsea. But NOT about strikers. Apparently, Milan are sounding Chelsea out about either Alex or Ivanovic (who are both defenders. good ones).

While I'd much MUCH prefer an Italian in defense, these two are pretty good.

I wouldn't want Alex. He's good in posession, but I don't think he can defend at all, I'm sure if I researched it, Chelsea's defensive record with Alex playing in the back 4 would be terrible.

Don't you think that's exaggeration? He sure ain't the best defender out there but he is quite good. I'd rather take Ivanovic though, we already have a full pack of Brazilians! We're not getting any of the two anyway cause Chelsea won't let them go for little... and that's what we're probably willing to spend.


You mean Cavani? Napoli's Cavani? Marino's smart, he won't sell any of his players to another Serie A outfit.

I think we need a forward more than we need a CB. I also doubt we're going to get anyone.

I think CMF means Cagliari's Canini -- and I agree that he'd be a good pick. Failing a massive brain fart by the Zebra leadership that'd let Chiellini go, I think he's probably one of the better young Italian bets.

Santacroce is probably the best young CB Chiellini aside. Juve wont release him especially to us. Santacroce is slightly more realistic but whether Napoli want to sell is another matter. Canini is highly rated but i have not seem him play enough to warrant a judgement

i was thinking of those two not too long ago, it makes sense. chelsea have too many quality CB to keep them all happy.

if we do get sumone i see us getting alex just because he's brazilian, but my personal pick would be ivanovic.

Don't know a thing about that one, Armisse, but Corriere isn't always the most reliable source.
