I think Pato is a bit lazy. In the last games of the season he did not seem to give 100%.

QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jul 3 2008, 02:33 AM) What are you doing on anyways, isn't it like.. 3:30 where you are? Have you not gone to sleep yet, or do you just wake up really early? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Just don't feel like sleeping sometimes... But right on with the time difference calculation... QUOTE (dst @ Jul 3 2008, 02:54 AM) I think Pato is a bit lazy. In the last games of the season he did not seem to give 100%. I've been thinking the exact same thing... He always looks lethargic for some reason and especially after his injury last season he started completely disappearing in games. But on the other hand, he accepts responsibility really well and can lead the attack when needed. No player is perfect.

Well we can't blame him for being a bit wary of getting another injury after just recovering from one. He's still young so it's understandable, even experianced players go through this.

QUOTE (amancik @ Jul 3 2008, 09:59 AM) How much goals do you think he will score this season? I'm counting on 20 goals or more [in all competitions; including friendlies] IF he doesn't get injured too much, or for a long time. QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Jul 3 2008, 12:03 PM) I could only imagine the amount of bullets sent to Milan if that happened.. Well said (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) QUOTE (dst @ Jul 3 2008, 12:24 PM) I think Pato is a bit lazy. In the last games of the season he did not seem to give 100%. Before that ankle injury he looked so charged up but after that his form declined a bit. let's say he's still 18-19 and the pressure of heavy trainings and playing almost two times a week mixed with a few mysterious injuries were too much for him. I think it's unfair and premature to call him lazy.

I'm not saying Ale did not put on much effort deliberately. Maybe he was afraid he would get injured again. But he certainly did not use his abilities so much, especially his pace and acceleration. And he did the same in that friendly game with Brazil against Paraguay. I hope his injury really has not affected him. At least not permanently. It's be a big shame!
