I don't know if this is an accurate translation of Galliani's words but it does not mean we will surely get a forward, it only means that they will try to...

Hm. Well, it would seem that Adebayor is off the table. There's a quote in the Italian media from Adebayor stating that he's an Arsenal player, has 3 years left on his contract, etc.

So...who's next?

It's going to be Ronnie, I have a feeling about it.. but not for another month when Barca lowers his price a little bit.

Berbatov maybe. Tottenham is increasingly looking at strikers. The only striker I'm sure is not coming is David Villa. We've never ever been linked to him.

There was 2 interviews from Adebayor on SSN. The first interview said he's happy with Arsenal, Wenger, etc. and that he's an Arsena player as he has 3 years left on his contract. Then an hour later, when asked about a possible move to Milan, he said it will be sorted out next week. Not a rumour, direct quotes from Adebayor himself.

Well. Interesting, that. Maybe this one isn't dead yet.

Thanks for the update, Kurt.

If I had to pick I would say either Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Cristian Maggio, Eto'o, or Dimitar Berbatov, and Luis Fabiano but i figure he is two expencive.

Maggio isn't a striker is he.. and didn't he go to Napoli? Luis Fabiano was on fire this season, but I'm not sure he is the right kind of person to play for a big club like Milan.

If R10 doesn't come in, I think it'll be either Adebayor, Eto'o od Drogba. Milan goes African!

I saw it on Sky Sports News (The tv channel) so there isn't a link. I'll see if I can find the 2nd interview somewhere on the internet from another site.

Emmanuel Adebayor has opened the door to an AC Milan move just minutes after apparently pledging his future to Arsenal.

In a press conference in Vienna, the Togo striker told the assembled journalists: "I am an Arsenal player and have three years left on my contract.

"The most important thing for me is to keep on enjoying my football. I'm staying at Arsenal."

But then in a subsequent interview with Sky Sports News he claimed that nothing has been decided and talks are due next week.

When asked about a move to AC Milan, he replied: "A decision will be made next week."

Super-agent Vincenzo Morabito had said on Thursday that it was "80 per cent certain" that Adebayor would join Milan in a deal worth up to a massive £32m.

So FIFA agent Bronzetti gave an interview to 'Radio Radio TV'. Highlights of what he said:

'Milan has never given up on Ronaldinho. Milan has an agreement with him and he's told Bronzetti that he only wants Milan. My impression is that at the end, he'll come to Milan. And also perhaps a keeper will arrive.'

Carlo said Boruc at £10m was too much, after his Euro performances - as Fillipo accurately corrected - Celtic value him much closer to £15m now. Can you see Milan paying £15m for a keeper?
