I'm not a fan of Adebayor but if Wenger's really looking at Crouch to replace him then he's lost it!

I refuse to believe we're going to spend over 30m euros for Adebayor. No-one can change my mind! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Did you hate Flamini? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I think Ade is *half* decent, and would probably do reasonably well with Pato, but he's simply not worth the amounts being thrown around in my opinion. If the deal goes through, I'll look forward to him proving me wrong.

To me he is welcome. Does anyone know how many headers he scored for Arsenal last season? Or if Morgoth has seen him in France maybe he can tell me how good he is at headers?

BTW, welcome Beijing, You got an awesome signature. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I think he's good with his head, especially when it comes to deviations!

With that said, I can't believe we're going to buy him, I hope it's some kind of pressure on Barcelona to cut Eto'o price otherwise I'd be very disappointed with the management, plus what's the point of buy Borriello back if he's going to be a back up for Adebayor?! I'm really lost here (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Anyway, Ben Arfa will be Marseille player very soon, only the medical visit is left!

Oh and welcome to Milan fan beijing (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

My 'prediction' for the remaining transfer period:

GK: In - None. Out - None.

DF: In - Ferrari. Out - Simic.

MF: In - Ronaldinho. Out - Brocchi.

AT: In - Drogba. Out - None.
*

The only one I can see happening is Ferrari, Ronaldinho is looking more and more unlikely, and if we get Adebayor (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/puke.gif) He will be the only attacking player coming in

QUOTE (beijing @ Jun 25 2008, 12:04 PM)

what do those stats mean exactly, I don't understand Italian. Are they saying that we actually made a profit? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

QUOTE (Darunia @ Jun 25 2008, 01:10 PM)
Concerning Arsenal, it's been rumored Roque Santa Cruz might be the replacement... I'd be angry though if they took our money and went and bought David Villa.
*

That would be the story of Milan for the last 3 years wouldn;t it? getting the short end of the stick in the long run because our management for some reason have become incompetent.

I can't believe it's about to happen either, I gave Galliani more credit before that, but if this happens the last bit of respect I have for him will down the drain. I mean what the hell is he thinking??? Ok I'm fine to a certain extent with Adebayor coming, but for that ammount of moeny???? When Galliani is always complaining about it?? I can't believe it's about to happen.

No way both players will come in, it's an either or situation in this case. And what really gets to me is that they are not willing to spend half the ammoun they are willing to spend on Adebayor for R10 when we all know that one is WC and the other will probably never be

I like Adebayor. I see more potential than current ability in him. The way he rose to the challenge and scored that many goals right after Henry left shows he can take responsibility. I think he will only develop in Milan. The cost? I'm fine with it AS LONG AS Milan also bring in Ronaldinho. We all know we are not getting a keeper this season. Man i'm getting tired of seeing this for about 10 pages now. Look guys ade is a good buy whether some of you believe he is trash or not. Lets look at his statistics:

Full name: Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor

Date of Birth: February 26, 1984 (age 24)

Country: Togo

Height: 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) = WOW!!!! Nice to have a tall striker for once!

RECORDS:

Years Club App (Gls)*
2001–2003 FC Metz 44 (15)

2003–2006 AS Monaco 78 (18)

2006– Arsenal 78 (36)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lets give him a chance i mean were giving trash like boriello a chance and an 18 year old school kid a chance to lead our attack next year. I dont see why we can't give a striker who is 24, tall, powerful and has a good scoring record a chance.

I dont like the fact that were paying an unbelievable price for him but thats the way the market goes. Hes the best choice out of Eto/Drogba/R10 because his wages are not ridiculous so they won't hurt our clubs foundation, also its beneficial for our club because he and flamini have great chemistry so it will only be a vantage point.

=--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the R10 issue i dont believe that we'll get him. He wants the biggest money and he will go to the club who can offer him the fattest check and the nicest party life style. London->chelsea->fatcheck->girls all over him.

The little chart in italian is how much the big clubs have spent on transfers in and gotten from transfers out. My question is: where did it come from (what source) and which year is it from?
