I don't get what the management is thinking. Veloso? Really? He is a great DM. But we need a great AM. What the hell are we gonna do with all those defensive mids and no proper sub for Kaka...

I agree with Armisse. Moutinho is the better choice and he looks like he can perform well under pressure which is a must for a Milan player.

Ronaldinho To Milan Still Possible - Bronzetti

Milan transfer consultant and FIFA super agent Ernesto Bronzetti admits Ronaldinho could still move to the Rossoneri. And he is convinced that one of either Adebayor, Drogba or Eto'o will sign for the Milanese club.

Milan have been interested in the Brazilian play maker ever since the player dazzled San Siro during the 2006 Champions League semi final.

'Dinho is on his way out of Camp Nou following a miserable season last term where he was completely dropped from the squad.

Milan and Manchester City have been lying in wait but Chelsea have also joined the race to sign him. The Italians had their initial bid for the player turned down by Joan Laporta. City meanwhile doesn't really appeal to the player where as Chelsea still haven't made any real move for him.

The door is wide open for 'Dinho who could still move to any of the three clubs. The rumour mill is spinning out of control but Milan are staying calm and they believe Ronaldinho's capture is still on.

“Ronaldinho? It seems as if there is an agreement with Manchester City but I think it's absurd, ” Bronzetti told Sky Italia TG24

“However, the player is hoping that a deal can be reached with Milan or maybe even Chelsea or Inter.”

Bronzetti also revealed that Milan are still pushing for Arsenal's Emanuel Adebayor and Chelsea's Didier Drogba.

“The objectives are still Adebayor, Drogba or Eto'o and I am convinced one of the three will arrive,” concluded Bronzetti

Milan admit defeat in Ronaldinho transfer race

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted the club cannot compete financially with Manchester City in the race to sign Ronaldinho.

Galliani said Milan and other Italian clubs are being squeezed out of several transfer moves as clubs in England, Spain and Germany have more money to spend.

'I cannot ignore that Italian football is now in fourth position in Europe behind England, Spain and Germany,' he said in Gazzetta dello Sport.

'We simply cannot compete with certain figures anymore.

'Manchester City have offered the Brazilian (Ronaldinho) 12 million euros (£9.5million) a year. We can only compete with that if they (Barcelona) give him away for free.'

sad... truly sad... but ast least there is some truth behind it. The only way for us to compete against the big teams now in the market is to have someone willing to spend big like abramov

Galliani also said that Milan can sign R10 only for free (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Milan will be competitive with the signings of Mathieu Flamini and Gianluca Zambrotta, plus the return of Marco Borriello, Christian Abbiati and Luca Antonini, in addition to promoting Matteo Darmian

This is beyond ridiculous...

We have no chance of winning the Scudetto IF those are our only new signings. it doesn't take an Einstein to realize that [though for some it does]...

If we cant afford to break the bank for superstars we should concentrate on developing our own youth players. Instead of selling people like Di Gennaro and Marzoratti we should keep them. Promising players should not be offloaded at the first opportunity

Sampdoria director general Beppe Marotta has confirmed that AC Milan and Inter have both enquired about Antonio Cassano, but he says the club have no intention of selling him at the moment.
