QUOTE (Portikins @ Jun 12 2008, 11:13 PM) I think he's the best RB at the moment too. Alves is not as good defending but better in set pieces (both are top top top going foward). Zambrotta did that too. 5 years ago. Seen Ramos play against Russia?

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jun 12 2008, 06:51 AM) Well, all I am trying to say is that this is the off-season, where the 'sport' media have nothing to write appart from the transfers (thank God there are the EUROs, or you'd be fed BS after BS ..) What Braida, Galliani, and co do, is a method that has been used for so long now ... They've been using it since and before the Madrid-Perez era ... Whereby they don't get drawn into the crazy figures that clubs would like to collect off of Milan's back ... Last season and the one before it ?! What about them ? You know exactly what Im about to say here, so please spare me .. 10M for Buroc is not too much, 40M for Ronaldinho is not too much and 50M for Eto'o is not too much ... This is Milan after all, but also this is the difference between this management and the rest (this is the longest standing management of any successful club out there and it has been boosting healthy funding along with healthy results for the past two decades) ... What you need to understand, is not what Galliani, Braida or even Silvio says per say, rather understand that this is not a message to the fans ... Milan have already addressed the fans .. And told us that there will be changes to the team, and that is what I am expecting ... With that said, it is still too early to speculate !! World Class post! I have come to believe the same thing. Media just creates a bunch of bs. I just hope we hurry and start negotations quickly or we'll have to settle for trash/seconds. If we dont get drogba/eto/adebayor:( then we'll have huge problems. WE cannot alone depend on boriello. Right now we have: Inzaghi 35 Pato 18 paloschi 18 this is a huge problem. At the minimum we need 4 strikers with 2 being world class and 1 being good off the bench and 1 reserve.

QUOTE (Bluesummers @ Jun 13 2008, 03:51 AM) Right now we have: Inzaghi 35 Pato 18 paloschi 18 Actually: Inzaghi 34/35 Borriello 26 Pato 18/19 Paloschi 18/19 + {Ronaldo 31/32} {New striker} If the new "WC striker" arrives, we'll be allright with this department. Why isn't anyone mentioning Cruz? He's been great for Inter ever since and could be avaible. Why not try to get him?

Alves is an attacking RB. He's amazing going forward, can also play as RW and DMF, has great vision and is a good scorer. A ****.
Ramos is a defensive RB who is also good at going forward. Great in defense. Can play at CB but he's not good in that position. What I don't like about him is that he often has disastrous games! A huge ****. A ****-well.
If we can judge all RB's (defensive and attacking) on the same basis then in my view Alves is much better than Ramos. Much better than anyone else out there.

According to SKY Italia ... The Gunners have replied to Milan and they have given the green light to Adibayor .. They are asking 40MM, 5yr contract worth 5MM/season is what is being rumored to be the contract. Both Galliani and Carlo want this guy .... And I remember Maldini's interview last season, where he was commenting on Emanuel, he said that he was a unique player. Tall, fast, agile and can move in tight spaces (i.e. through Italian defenses) ... He is not a BIG name as Zlatan or Eto'o, nonetheless, if he signs for Milan I would welcome him (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) p.s. I doubt he will end up at Milan though .. It's just this time of the season, where you can't really pinpoint who the targets are
